hahahaha.....it is another name for RECALL la.....we put it in another words so that ALL the owner don't have panic attack and start sending in the car at the same moment...later world war 3.

I'm at Kajang SC this morning for my recurring timing chain issue which was changed at Nasim balakong Oct last year The "engine error" code popped up again when I had a hard right turn and engine rough while accelerates. Hope they can help to fix this issue once and for all.

By the way, I checked with the front desk about the recall or product enhancement program. They said no instruction has been given about this recall and they r not aware of this.

Perhaps someone can help to enlighten me of which SC in KL or S'gor area that has started the program?

Thanks..

Usually the only way to do it is a remap. Becoz when you want to remap, the tuner will have to break the security lock. Kind of like a jail break for iphone. Hahahahahah. Or if you can find a tuner who just willing to break the lock for u and dont do a remap..... biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif
icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif  Another topic. If my car no more warranty already. How do i go about getting the replacement? I mean how can i be entitled to the recall program? Any SC that is good/efficient/helpful on the recall?

your service record good track or not?
if spotless...usually they also approved the replacement easily...as this program is to recall faulty parts like honda and toyota takata airbag.if not ,you have to wait till they notify you.
try to get in touch with your sc to get clarification.

Any tips how to pressure SC to check and proceed with vehicle enhancement? I get the feeling that they don't get paid very well from this compared to just doing regular service. Would Glenmarie handle this better?
*
yes...glenmarie, i saw a lot of claim under this program in the system.

off topic...yes they get paid full but have to wait looorrr...because need to wait nasim make payment to the sc which will took some time compared to normal which we get paid on the spot for service and labour etc etc. for instance, this process is some sort of helping you to makes claims from insurance..if you know what i mean la

Ron 95 is good enough cos our engine is not tuned for Ron97. In theory using Ron97 would be a waste of money cos if the engine is not tuned for the specific RON then it cannot take advantage of the higher octane to provide the improved performance.

However some bros here have run on RON97 and report smoother acceleration. I think this true as each Co has it's own performance additive to premium fuel and this would bring a slight difference even if the engine not tuned for it. To satisfy my own curiosity, I did try BP RON 97. True enough the engine was smoother and marginally better acceleration.

Did not try any others, so can't say about them!

Thanks guys for the responses. I think I'll pump RON95 at BHP or Caltex.

I'll give RON97 a try sometime and see if there's a difference. smile.gif

I used RON97. Used to be RON95 for the first few months of owning the car. I noticed more mileage when i use RON97. Of course it was smoother as well.

But i was told that RON97 burns cleaner. So it is better for the engine. But do correct if that is not right.....

I will be getting my new ride 408P probably this week. May I ask:

1. How do I check if my new vehicle is applicable to the enhancement program?
2. What is CLIC, and how do I contact them?

Thanks in advance.
