If you go for 308, get the 6sp model. Much improved engine, most of the bugs fixed.

How to differentiate 4spd and 6spd? VTI is definitely 4spd right? Are there turbos with 4spd?
I'm in favour of the 308 also, but my bro warned me about the turbo and also the moonroof. Heard of cases where people throw rocks on cars from flyovers

Just 2 things.. Others just similar to the normal more expensive ver
1. If u ok that u are 2nd owner instead of 1st owner
2. U don't get free service

This moonroof is a European fancy. Here in Malaysia it's either too hot or rains. So I don't place much value on moonroof and I suppose rocks from flyovers will cause a problem.

Vti models are all 4spd. Early turbo models came with 4spd too,these engines suffered premature carbon deposit buildup. These engines were rated at 140bhp. The 6spd models are rated at 156bhp.2012 onwards 6spd. Sure way of checking this is with Chasis/Engine number which will be on the registration card. Ask for a copy of the card, if from dealer say you want to arrange for loan, and check with nearest Naza branch.

There are now plenty of Peugeot specialist workshops in Klang Valley. Buy the spares your self and this car is not expensive to maintain.

This is good news, but 2.5 years too late for me.

Collected my car.. Air con coil changed. It was fine.. but on the way felt warm.. then gone.. night cold. sa asked me to bring back.. wtf!!

Pre-reg = The car initially registered under show room, as show room car/test drive unit.
Basically when u buy over, it treated as 2nd hand car.

I guess it means they don't have new stock anymore. Likely it is a clearance for all the existing 408 showroom cars now.
Went passed 2 showrooms, and 408 is no longer on display.

Frankly, i'd still buy it if there is the 5year warranty. The real issue is that the car is almost new at a very good price. If there's any defect, can get it fixed on warranty.

I was told there is a 5 years warranty but no free service.
