My belt broke and after a while all electronics warning popped up, ac off, finally lost all power, emergency lights didn't work, power steering gone, and glided to side of road. Luckily I was not driving long distance and fast.

Could be a blessing in disguise, next week I am going long distance with family.

Sent in to CSL, hope they can get it fixed by tomorrow Probably will cost me < RM2k.

My car is about 2 years 4 mths now. Its 38k km now and 50k service due in 2 weeks time.

So I still don't know what went wrong, except this is my luck. SC told me only happens like 1 in every 100 car, could be a gut feel number.

I used to hv this problem, now I don't fill up till the pump auto stop, instead I manually estimate and stop before that.

No more smell.

Anyone knows where to get an under body guard, under the engine? Will this void warranty?

Thanks for the info. I thought that was quite steep, but I was in a hurry going outstation, so I just had to do it together with the service.

Usually how long have to leave car at SC for ac compressor?

My ac starting to smell, Damn. How can last till June when I go holidays.

Normal

Mine no compressor replacement, clic sent me these:
1. Timing
2. Breather hose – Labour
3. Oil Pump Solenoid
4. Water Pump
5. Turbo Electric Coolant Pump

So my compressor is good as it is? My car is 2.5 years.

I checked with sc and they said they hv to check the car first, and not necessarily replace all these items recommended by clic. Normal?

I just called Glenmarie for 60k service, but they said they are full until 17 May! Unfortunately, Glenmarie is more convenient for me during weekdays, since I have some sound I want them to look at.

I read complains about geotauto, what are your views/experience?

Anywhere else with good service near Subang I can send my car in to?

Another SC in KL sort of told me a while back that they are *very busy*, when I asked why it will take 2 weeks for my enhancement package, instead of 10 days. I am getting real tired.

Hi bro, thanks for the info, that's good to know. Is it easy to find parking at Geoauto? I have to send my car in at about 615am, to avoid jam etc, then find my way to go to work. Is it safe to leave car key with security guards?

Edit: my car has some ringing sound coming from under the steering, towards the left, when going over uneven roads

As for enhancement package, I was told by CSL that it would take "at least" 2 weeks. I thought that's ridiculous.
