do you guys feel that the steering on the turbo model provide a little too much "feel" of the road? cos what i feel is that the steering rack itself is somewhat loose, so when going on roads that has small little little potholes or those patched up roads, the steering tends to vibrate as a result of hitting those roads that i mentioned which my honda city does not. I did ask SCÂ and they say they don't feel anything and that everything is normal... don't rly trust them, so would like to ask u guys...haha...how a?
One of the criteria when I was looking for a car was steering feedback & feel. I tested 6 cars & decided I liked the feel from the 408t best. It was the most precise of the lot.
I did not appreciate the hollow feel on Jap cars, Korean cars were a bit better. By hollow feel I mean the steering is over assisted by hydraulics, there is virtually no feedback. As there is no feedback, there is no vibration or shock of any kind at the steering wheel. The hydraulics absorbs all. This system is very comfortable but you are actually driving the car based on it's momentum. The cars momentum acts as a feedback for drivers turn coordination & commands. This would be very unsafe for sprited, twisty drives.
It is true, 408thp may be a little too much feel and driver tends to feel all those road irregularities. However this excellent feedback provides higher level of confidence during fast corners, as the feel is much more precise.
This time the SC was on the dot la bro, it is normal
