QUOTE(sordanny @ Sep 16 2015, 12:16 PM) I think I might be the victim of TM traffic shaping Nice download speed btw, what download manager u using? I've been on the list for TM traffic throttling many times lol. Tried to download a bunch of large updates from steam just now and found my dl speed was dropping gradually down to oblivion << sign of traffic throttle

QUOTE(UserU @ Sep 17 2015, 10:34 PM) My latency ingame has spiked from 300+ to 500+. WTF Unifi Heil TM. Having the same problem. Well at least I'm glad I'm not the only one encountering these slowdowns.

QUOTE(Lynixx @ Sep 18 2015, 08:57 AM) guys,i managed(finally!) to get over 45+/-mbps speed after requesting to upgrade from 30mbps to 50mbps 2 weeks ago, i have did around 5 times of speedtest. but hardly can get 50mbps full speed. only 1 or 2 of 5 times. is this normal? heh. last time I've upgraded to 30Mbps I got stuck at 25+/-Mbps. What I did was changing from 802.11b/g mode to 802.11b/g/n in the router and could get over 30Mbps.

QUOTE(jolmy @ Sep 18 2015, 09:07 AM) It's best to do your speed test over a wired connection. In my case I can never get a good speed over wireless connection due to many factors affecting wireless. But with cable or using HomePlug, no issues at all. Well true, the only way I knew my WLAN is the source of the speed problem was by using ethernet cable to test the speed. Sometimes for wireless you'll need to try out b/g, b/g/n or ac (excluding only b mode cuz its throughput reaches only 10Mbps) for your router, check the transmission rate and stuffs and see if the connection speed is up to par or not. But if it's environmental factor like overlapping issue then that would be a different case. Out of curiosity, what are the factors that affect your wireless network connection?

Anyone's been encountering suddenly connection lost of wireless network aftee upgrading to unifi package? Was expecting intense speed and fast connection, turned out to be true but additionally with constant disconnection and unacceptably high ping a lot of times during night. My bro kept complaining about the hyper lag issue during dota 2 game.

I've been struggling to fix the wireless connection after upgrading from VIP10 to Unifi30 (30Mbps). After the upgrade I am quite upset that:
1. My DIR-615 router on 802.11b/g mode could not transfer more than 25Mbps(+/-) even when .11g mode can support throughput up to 54Mbps
2. After switching the mode to 802.11b/g/n, I could get more than the upgraded speed (obviously). However: - My phone's transfer rate is doing great and pretty well done - My lappy's Realtek RTL8723AE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC varies from 0 to 20Mbps, but sometimes still can reach over 30Mbps, causing super unstable connection, ping can reach up to 1000m/s in SEA - Using ethernet connection on my lappy, the speed's doing what it should be.
3. Using ipv6, wireless network starts to become unstable as f, auto-disconnect and such, mostly happening at 6 - 10pm night.
I have switched back to ipv4 today to check whether is it the protocol itself is acting up. Highly unlikely eh? Hopefully experts here can figure out possible problems and fixes. My speed was super stable last time on VIP10.

QUOTE(darren84 @ Sep 30 2015, 02:20 PM) Hi, those having issues with downloading from Appstore due to the ultra mega slow speed, I wonder if you all have lodged complaint to MCMC before? Has anyone got an official explanation from TM and get an answer how long it will last? Last time I tried calling unifi regarding to the issue of my router problem, before they connected me to one of their customer service representatives there was an announcement by unifi about the slow connection to appstore.

QUOTE(kazarboys @ Oct 9 2015, 07:59 PM) I'm currently unified user for 10mbps package. This whole month I'm experiencing slow internet and in the afternoon my line keep DC.Called unifi, to clarify about the slow internet, the customer support lady told me that I have exceeded the quota. Anybody have info about this quota thing?I did not receive my hard copy statement thru mail for 2 month. If you did not receive the bill statement, you can still go to TM Point or related and pay for it by anticipating the issuance date through your previous statements, then issue complaint about the missing bill statements. Beware that TM will throttle your connection if you use too much traffic (e.g. P2P from torrenting). If you do not torrent then I have no idea about the problem of slow internet speed. QUOTE(faridsuarez @ Oct 10 2015, 08:37 AM) unifi30 and uni50 unlimited .. VIP 5, 10, 20 also unlimited (so far)

QUOTE(kazarboys @ Oct 10 2015, 05:41 PM) I did use some torrent most also 30gb to 40gb a month. Is that a lot? Even after I made payment the internet speed is slow. Avg I will get 7mbps, lowest 2mbps.I thought ppl hack my line, I change pass every week but still same. Sorry for late reply. DO NOT SEED after you've finished torrenting << important While seeding the outbound traffic is quite a great deal since numerous peers will connect to your IP.
