The slowness in downloading in Appstore is happened before malware attack. download using Maxis is not an issue.

maybe routing or international congestion at TM's gateway.. nothing they will change for you due to their commitment based on Mcmc just to local.. so my suggestion.. change to maxis..

Asus N12HP should be ok.

I experienced WAN-LAN issue with this router.. just up to 45Mbps.. so if you subscribed higher than 40Mbps.. better find GE port router.. n66 is far better in terms of coverage and stability

I believe I can answer you this, the answer is NO, even using IDM download stuff from aboard, still experience only 80~250kbps

Where? Give more info...
Maybe we can help to test.

what is the maximum length for fiber optic cable from the cabinet to a customer house. and what kind of fiber do TM use....the single mode or multi mode optic fibre? TM build a fibre Cabinet about 530m from my house...just curios.. ...i wont be dreaming to subscribe unifi if any of u guys can confirm me the cabinet cannot support more that 500meters for example.

wau..  you expected to get full speed to international..  no ISP in the world can guarantee the international speed for consumer package (as I know).  the international is sharing..  the ethernet is best effort technology..
*
It may work if you are downloading on multiple connections, all add up you might reach the max. But if over just a single connection (same thing applies to speed test) then no way of course.

For UniFi 30Mbps, tt is possible to get optimum speed to some parts of South East Asia and East Asia such as Vietnam, Taiwan & Japan.

However, the bottleneck seems to be the links from East Asia to US where we are most likely to get lower speeds to US.

Just ran a test.

My VIP5 speedtest result to a server in San Francisco seems to be good.

Especially the ping time. smile.gif

Hmm... perhaps 15Mbps is the best one can get to the US.... So those on VIP5 & VIP10 will have no issues getting their optimum speeds.

hi guys, just wanted to ask some questions

1) DIR-615 , flashed to ddwrt , QoS working? anyone can verify? im currently using that function but it seems like doesnt work well

2) wanted to get TP-WR841ND as a replacement, so this QoS function is working in that router right?

Let's put it this way, all ISPs have no issue with Apps Store except for UniFi, still not their problem? Even now I'm at my sister's house which is on Streamyx 4Mbps has no issue with Apps Store.
Looks like I'll definitely complain to MCMC next week, let them deal with MCMC directly.
