hi bros. was thinking of upgrading my Tp-Link WDR4300 router to a new one.

reason i wanna change is the router turned GILA d. always DC on its own. i have to manually restart every time it happens. lousy coverage as well. already happened in past 6 months. so i give up on that piece of junk d. time to change to a better one.

so what i have in mind is Asus N12HP router. or any other recommendations?

youtube not smooth now. is something going on ?

prebuffering like watch 5-10 second, then it pauses to buffer for like 6 seconds, and repeats.... this is annoying...

Claim the warranty before you purchase another one.

If your location is full of wireless AP, get a 5Ghz capable router is better. smile.gif

How come like that?

I am on entry-level VIP5 and I can stream Youtube videos at 1080p@60fps smoother than butter.

The incoming video stream is coming in at approximately 4.5Mbps and yet my lowly VIP5 can cope without buffering and stuttering.

I am just lucky, I guess. smile.gif

I'm out from town now, else I can also try my 30Mbps. My UniFi has been performing extremely well (except for Apps Store issue) and still good when I used and I left PJ at yesterday's noon. hmm.gif
Problem only started tonight?

You are so lucky. thumbup.gif
My VIP10 can stream only 720p with some lag. 1080p is very laggy and frustrating. mad.gif
Look like evidently TMNet is cheating its customer. vmad.gif

5Ghz signal penetration is weaker than 2.4Ghz. It's really useful if your location is very congested. tongue.gif
