I have already complained to their Twitter and I gave them enough time to look for resolution, if they are not doing anything at all, then face the necessary from MCMC.
Anyway, this is not the first time I have complained to MCMC and they are efficient. I have complained about Celcom and Maxis slow speed before.

Definitely TM problem. No problem using maxis 4G.

After not coming back to hometown for a month, even on Streamyx is slight slow now for Apps update but to be fair this is just a 4Mbps line and it is still much faster than my 30Mbps line back in PJ when it comes to Apps Store.

Can someone help me? I just upgraded from VIP5 to 30mb this weekend, somehow my connection is slower now than ever.

Here are my speedtest results, taken around 5-6pm:

Local:

Call tm. They'll arrange technician come your house fix the cable.

clearly these results show that TM does not have the enough international capacities to cater the local needs.
come out high speed package but at the back cannot provide due to ....<INSERT>

TM has ample International capacity, problem is with traffic routing, lousy technician, lousy management and throttling gone bad.

Majority of Malaysians who are heavy downloader and torrents

Maybe its time for tm to impose quota?

Or the government to start tracking illegal downloads?

that why pipul are subscribe their high speed package and efficiently utilize it. further, it doesnt matter u are heavy or light users, most of malaysian like u said demand more international bandwidth, with 50MBPS this explains why pipul want to see rich content like netflix, hulu, iflix, utube, set up home CCTV otherwise who wants to pay 50Mbps(HOME) just to view local sites lowyat/ do online banking/flight booking, facebook, social messaging. (sorry, i dont have any local website in mind that is rich in content) +addon(10mbps upload/50mbps download how to host server?)
mereshia internet is already dem expensive. impose quota somemore?
if they dont have fund to provide'/upgrade infrastructures, just let others come in and have a fair and clean competition.
if they want to track illegal download, pirated CD shops/ dealers should have known the law already and their shops should have closed down . whistling.gif

Don't tell me it's not UniFi problem regarding Apps Store, if it has been like that since day one, maybe we can accept, only recently it started, of course we won't be happy!

I will definitively escalate and I demand an explanation from them.

All other ISPs have no issue except for UniFi, still not UniFi problem then whose problem? If they want to blame other factors, then let me know who they want to blame to.

yeah... broadband useless if international especially to US isn't 80% of total mbps of your package.... your results show how bad this package is...

only rarely is some of the content have a local source, mostly due to peering on torrent which happens to have some local users. but most of the time its us peers.... so local speed is useless in those situations which is going to be most of the time.

currently updated my instagram app on iphone.. it takes 15-20 minutes for 20mb!.. after i turn on my vpn (getflix) its only take for 2-3 minutes for 20mb file.. damm.. tm..

this is what i get when surf internet at night (unifi VIP5)
who has the same experience ??

lost trust with unifi now, planing to switch to maxis fiber

In that case did u call them to reset ur port?

If reset port still same issue they will arrange technician come and check. Maybe fiber cable issue.

Just called them, they reset my connection and use their own speedtest. Went from 20-30mbps on their own speedtest site, but when i connect on speedtest.net still 10+ mbps only and when i connect to us only 1mbps. @_@
