It's actually 3 to 7 working days. You want fast, go striaght TM point. Most got it done within the same day.

If you are on a BIZ plan, just tell them that you cannot have your business line down for more than a couple of hours, they straight upgrade for you on the spot.

Off track a bit, I am also using power line / homeplug but recently my hypptv always giving problems esp at night, after 30 min of watching, the sound / screen looks like its breaking off or buffering.

Any thoughts.

I'm currently using Unifi 20 package and has been harassed by TM staff past 4 weeks to upgrade to 50MBPS plan with call package at RM249 excluding GST which I refused.

Today I got a call from one of their managers in TM HQ asking me the reason why I don't want to opt for the new package eventough I have given them my reasons. Finally, they offered me RM229 with free calls package (worth 600 minutes to all network) + HypptTV package for free and they even cancel my current contract which had 1 year 2 months more remaining and will prepare new 24 months contract at no extra charge.

I accepted it as the offer was way to tempting rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

**The only catch was my contract will be auto renewed to 24 months starting today**

Summary: Free Upgrade to 50mbps at no extra cost (Only upload speed affected from 20mbps to 10mbps but its acceptable)

*Guess TM is desperate to pull their customer vase volume towards them.

That aside. It is not called cancelled, whoever upgrades their plans will have their contract refreshed. TM is more than happy for you to keep refreshing your contract. smile.gif

My contract refreshed twice as well. From VIP 5 last year's April > VIP 10 last year's Dec and 30Mbps this year's July. I guess I can't get away from TM in the mean time. laugh.gif

Good for u. It's good offer to double your DL speed nutbsincr you don't UL every day or time, its not much difference to you.

TM under pressure to report higher broadband sped and take up since the Minister was caught talking nonsense abt ppl prefer slower speed.

If more ppl take 50 mps, average internet take up speed increase a lot.

But doubt since I am only on VIP 10 will be offered this package.

Just waiting for 2 more years. Maybe by then it's min 100 mps.

I have double confirmed with the manager that will my current outstanding months remained will be added to the new contract? They said No, it will be a brand new contract all together which will expire in October 2017.

Yeah la, everyone has a new contract what? blink.gif All will expire in 2017. That's the meaning of refreshed. As I mentioned, my contract was supposedly ended in March 2016 is now extended to June 2017.
If it can continue from your existing contract then it is good.

If it is upgrade, automatically contract will be refreshed for another 24 months. The reason for the contract is to tie you up so that you won't cancel or downgrade it. Of course, it can be settled if you pay for the penalty.
