Mine was the clicky and easy to click. To be honest i hate it because i always get accidental presses whenever in my pocket. . Few days ago i triggered the car alarm for 3 times  sad.gif And the key transmitter is damn powerful, i was inside the house and the car was at the roadside also can get triggered.

my friend say the same thing. but i like his more, more satisfying when clicked. biggrin.gif

Both keys feel about the same to me. The only difference is my 1.3 has 2 buttons in the middle while the 1.6 has only 1 button in the middle.

probably me and my friend's key is from different batch sweat.gif

2days ago i got stuck at the ipoh bound towards tunnel for 1hour. HHA worked great all the time. No need pull hanbrake. Gear must be engaged at 1st gear and full stop at a slope for it to work.

I know right, very useful.

Although mine is cvt, when i release brake at steep slope then car in front suddenly stopped. , i freaked out n immediately press brake again.

But the brake pedal was stiff which means HHA was active

to iriz 1.3 users..i just found out that we can change our long and ugly antenna to myvi's antenna..
very easy to install..just twist the antenna and it fits perfectly  biggrin.gif

and the price is very cheap..under rm50
however i havent test out the reception yet hmm.gif

test n tell me...if ok, i want to change the antena...
*
It fits but the reception is generally horrible. In the FB groups there were a few people who thought they could get away with it but ended up changing back to the original because the reception was so bad.

I'm wondering if the Persona one will work, as both models use the same brand.

Once when stopped on a slope a truck ahead of me stalled and rolled backwards. The brake was stiff as HHA was activated so I couldn't go anywhere, LOL. I now realised I could've switched to N gear but didn't think of it when panicking.

The control really works from afar. I forgot whether did I lock my car, so I walked out to the balcony from the 3rd floor and my car is parked the end of the parking lot, still managed to remotely lock it.. gt a surprise myself
spot the white iriz at the upper middle centre of the pic? between another white vehicle & a tree ? yup, it works that far

GUYS, i have a serious question. Whenever I read a post about Proton elsewhere, why do people condemn Proton so much? What did Proton ever did to them? Makes me feel a lil guilty that Malaysians are against their own National Car. I know proton was doing bad previously, but i think now they've improved significantly over the past year.

My experience with Proton:

1 - Proton Perdana V6 2000 keeping it till NOW, overhauled gearbox once at year 10

2. Proton Saga Aeroback 2001 - Kept it till 2011, no Major Problem. sold it and bought a Savvy

3. Proton Savvy Mid Spec- 2011 till now, finding a buyer to sell my car off. No major issues, just had to maintain gearbox carefully

4. Proton Preve Mid Spec - 2014 , bought for my uncle. No major problem except expensive spare parts

5. Proton Iriz 1.6 Exec AT- 2015, to replace my Savvy.

I dont have any major problems with my proton, even my f30 BMW has steering rack issues but people dont seem to care about it because its a conti car?

Malaysians should change their mindset. Proton has come from a loooong way to now.

Bashers are always gonna bash Proton, they'll have to open up their eyes

I think that most Malaysian hate Proton due to the protection from government in its early years. Therefore, they purposely set a very high expectation on Proton cars and magnify the minor issues. Frankly speaking, Proton has already improved lots in recent years even though there are still lots of improvements needed.

With its small economic of scale, it's already quite impressive that Proton manages to produce cars with such specs. Malaysian should really respect their efforts and not to bash it blindly.

simple, most of the guys still live at era of gov protect national car by imposing import tax on import cars, now they seeing toyota and honda price at neighbour country is cheaper, they bash proton for make the car expensive here.... for them proton make them unable to get toyota vios or honda city at 60k, so much hate growing... i seeing many saying 200% import tax bla bla bla..... they dun even know that honda and toyota assembly locally, the tax scheme is same with proton, the high tax is apply for cars more than 2000cc capacity that import from countries outside of ASEAN. laugh.gif

2nd politic issue, making them bash every thing that are made in Malaysia.
