Resolved the rattling steering myself. Just use a flat screw driver and poke it so the airbag module comes off. Got a few wires dangling (HU control) inside causing the rattle. Just tape the wires with foam.

Warning: Do not attempt to do this without taking out the battery. I don't want the car settings to reset so i just dismantle it from passenger side and carefully applied the tape. No responsibility held if the airbag comes off while you're working on it

I would say its due to Proton's history. Problems came when things like:
1. Proton prematurely released the Campro engine.
2. Power windows keep failing.
3. "Cheap parts" which brakes down easily
4. Since considered so "mafan" to take care so people tell others not to buy Proton.
5. Savvy problems.

Just settled the rattling over dashboard, said that it was not tight and rattled against windscreen... now no more dashboard rattle :-)

oh, sorry, need to clarify I did not DIY... I left it in SC and the next day they tested it and said the rattling due to loose dashboard.. they said they had to dismantle part by part to figure the location of the rattling..

Rear disc brakes aren't that much better than drums. Also bear in mind that the brakes are closely related to the ESC (which in turn is based on ABS), so you risk messing it up if not done correctly.

Maybe wait a little longer for the brakes to wear out a bit first, because it's a waste to change it so soon. Don't forget about the warranty that you'll likely void!

There's definitely music streaming. Press media until you get to "BT STREAM".

It's quite straightforward. Basically if you refer to this diagram below. There is a hole below of the steering. Turn right 90 degress to access it easily from passenger side.


If you look into the hole, there's a metal inside. This need to be pushed in to release the airbag module. I use flat screw driver but you can use anything flat and long to push. If you do it correctly, the airbag module will just pop out from the steering without any force to pull it out. I did not remove the airbag wiring i just leave it while i wrap the HU control wires. Push back the module back in, it will just go in with a click.

The rims are from Enkei right? Is it any lighter than the ones at rims shop? Might get a set too

Can stream, pair ur phone to the Bluetooth first, and then press on the menu button till you see bluetooth and it'll on, just select the song in ur phone, and then stream by pressing play.

Good Early Morning of Korban guys, anyway, has anyone realise that the steering tends to be jumpy when going from high and then to medium speeds on highway? like when you slow down, and it starts getting jumpy. Is it the ABS? just like in Mitsu cars?
