I went for 10k svs at coe last month. I complained abt dashboard rattling issue and back suspension knocking sound. For rattling dashboard they managed to minimize it,but iam still not 100pct satisfied. For suspension issue, they said need CAT team to weld sumthing...my question is,any of u guy hv same problem with me regarding the suspension? Thanx
*
Mine has the back knocking sound as well, they even changed the suspension also doesn't help, the sound is worst when going over bumps.
Dashboard rattling the SC mentioned that it is from the throttle unit, when rev to 2K RPM only the rattling sound appear.
Mine is a 2014 1.6 Iriz.

like a bit cacat... suppose to be like this?

Not really, if you have like hours to spare and a steady hand as well as patience, then surely can do a better paintjob than what I did. but at least the black areas aren't seen anymore, and non-noticeable unless you really go like 30cm in front of it with a torchlight

but my rpm at that time around 2k.. maybe 1.7 to 2.0.. soo.. i don't think that the engine got barely enough power to keep alive.. correction maybe speed around 20 ~ 30.. i often encounter this kind of problem..
*
No idea then. I recall that at times i do have such problems on 2nd gear but rather rarely. Earlier I tried driving at about 20km/h at Giant parking and didnt encounter such problems.

Hmmm.. me same here... Erm. Need to make appointment ? For the welding. I think mine too. Effected. I tried move trays and etc. Still got. Should be the metal knock sound same as u.
Can do at any service center or only coE? ?

About dashboard rattling. They fixed by taking the whole thing out?
Got get worse or get better ?

To those who've sent their cars to the SC to check for any issues, do you insist on seeing the technicians and explaining it to them, or just speaking to the service advisor who may or may not relay the correct info to the technicians?

Good advice bro. Will definitely try that next time as I have problems they have to rectify with my car.

Can anyone recommend any good SC around Shah Alam or PJ?

Glenmarie is smaller, and will serve you faster. Generally a bit friendlier. However their ability to fix more mysterious/unusual issues is more limited.

COE is much bigger, have to wait longer at the customer lounge but they have all the equipment to fix things. For instance they have a so called "body center" to check for any issues with the body joints, which I doubt the Glenmarie one has.

just found out the keyfob button on my 1.6cvt and my friend's 1.3 cvt have different feel. the button design is same, but mine feel mushy and harder to click, while my friend's is more clicky and easier to click.

anyone noticed this? different batch of key?

Mine was the clicky and easy to click. To be honest i hate it because i always get accidental presses whenever in my pocket. . Few days ago i triggered the car alarm for 3 times sad.gif And the key transmitter is damn powerful, i was inside the house and the car was at the roadside also can get triggered.

Both keys feel about the same to me. The only difference is my 1.3 has 2 buttons in the middle while the 1.6 has only 1 button in the middle.
