In transit Today 22:24 [Cross-border] Due to the recent strict inspection of air-freight import parcels by the Malaysian Customs, the customs clearance time for inbound parcels has been extended, which may cause your order to be delayed by about 7 days. Yes i got same update. I believe they just update the status so people stop complaining everyday and contact them and they can buy time for another 7 days

Mine still no update after 22nd says custom released. Talked to the customer human agent, as usual gv nonsense reply says what custom stuck, but I question my status shows custom released then only say due to backlop pending local courier to pick up. Yada yada yada...all bs

last week i escalated the issue to the customer service. they told me custom doing some inspection + is cny holiday so is severly delay.
i also bought some bigger item which i used sea shipping, it arrived early jan before cny despite the order is done later..
UPDATE: Fortunately they found the parcel and it's progressing now. Still, it's an unpleasant experience and I probably will not use it again for important items.
Fking hell flash express... possibly lost my parcel (monitor) worth RM2000. Yes I can get refund from Taobao but the item is sold out already and other shops higher price.
Should have used third party forwarder instead. usually get LEX but this time got flash express lottery, seriously laaaaa

I've put together a complete list of tracking details for all Taobao purchases. You can find the full list below, including direct links for online tracking.
That’s an unusual tracking number—I’ve never seen a CNEM prefix before.

CNMYJ also cannot already
Yep, my suspicion was right—local couriers change the tracking number once they receive the parcel, making it much harder to track.
When your parcel arrives, could you check and let us know if this is true? I accidentally threw away the packaging after opening mine and forgot to confirm this beforehand.

Oops, actually there's indeed update. JnT will still use the same tracking number. The concern thing here is Cainiao sometimes will put false update which is not the actual status. Just verified using the tracking num of my parcel
