Hi! I would like to ask about custom tax. Does it includes shipping fees or just the total prices of the goods to be less/more than RM500?
*
Tax will include shipping.

If you bought something in bulk and exceed RM500 in value confirm tax. One time I bought like 4 PS4 game from playasia , just few bucks over RM500 got tax.

I bought few items, single item value >RM500 no tax because for personal use.

Judging from their branch office/delivery hub, I’d say ABX is the one of bottom of the barrel trash tier courier service. But they have been in the business for a long time, so maybe they are not so bad as new courier like Line Clear or Flash.

So far all my taobao stuff arrived safely. Usually Best Express would handle shipping in Msia, but this year suddenly change ABX. ABX dont deliver on weekend.
*
Looking at their hub on Google Maps, yeah basically what I expected from a smaller courier like them, cause currently I personally only touch J&T(Local only) and PosLaju(International/AliExpress global shipping). Also don't have much experience with Best, I've used some random Chinese proxies, but currently I mainly use buymall from time to time.

So that explained why my packages aren't moving today then when it arrived at the hub. So they'll be shipping only on weekdays I assume?

Oh really? I could've sworn I've gotten J&T packages on weekends. And don't even start with shopee express, they're probably the slowest I've encountered in Malaysia. doh.gif

JnT I think it depends on branch/area too. I discovered early this year some JnT office doesn't open on certain days - talk to their staff apparently now they no longer require their branches to open everyday.

Oh yeah and get this: JnT don't do delivery on weekend, BUT the delivery hub also closed on weekend. Nobody manned their hubs on weekend. So if you happen to buy something that arrived in their delivery hub on Saturday, you can't self collect - only option is to wait until Monday morning. For me, all these courier companies are either bad or worse. I only trust Poslaju for the important stuff.

Oh maybe it's my area then, my items from J&T or to J&T always arrives within 1 or latest within 2. Guess that's just my area being efficient with the shipping. For the hub I don't think I've gotten that issue, but maybe that's because my items always arrived on time, I'm always happy when eg Shopee sellers use J&T and not Shopee Express or other services cause J&T is probably the best with Shopee for me. And with PosLaju it's slower but honestly their services is probably the most complete amongst all the offered services within Malaysia.

Interesting, just got my other package today from ABX, despite the record not showing on ABX track and trace. And my other package is still showing
'PUNCAK ALAM HUB (PAH) - Selangor
Parcel Has Been Collected'
So not really know when to expect my packages blink.gif

First is consolidation shipping, once item reached warehouse, they will weigh your item and give you shipping fee, then you have to pay the shipping fee for them to ship out your item.

Second one is direct shipping, when you choose this option, you pay the item fee + international shipping fee upon checkout, then you just wait for your item to reach your door step.

If seller put wrong weight or dimension of the item, the international shipping fee will reflect the wrong price for direct shipping.

For consolidation shipping, they will weigh your item once reached the warehouse, meaning the weight is the actual weight, but for this method, you have to pay item fee and shipping fee separately.

I’ve been using direct shipping to buy electronics (or sensitive items as it’s labelled like that) and no issues
Just that for this really small/light item that shipping fee is a bit too expensive

So no issues using taobao’s consolidate service for electronics? I do like that it starts with 500g minimum instead of 1kg like other forwarders.
For the economic shipping option still use air freight?

Long time didn't use their consolidation shipping, so I have no idea.

Your item x20, so I am not sure the weight.
Sometimes the individual packaging of one item add up which caused the weight to shoot up, or it could be error in the weight or dimensions declared by seller.

If you want, you can confirm with seller via chat, that the x20 of your item is really 500g or less, then you may choose consolidation shipping.

The 3rd option you mentioned is consolidation economy sea shipping.

Just wondering how do I top up alipay? Just need 1 yuan to purchase a 50 yuan discount voucher. But if it is too much hassle then I might forget about it

Hi guys, i ordered some items using taobao official consolidate option with shipping already paid.
The problem now is one of the items unable to send out items because of recent covid breakout case
Will this affect my other items to be sent here?
Or do they just wait until all the items arrived and send to msia?
