If I am not mistaken if you are using TGDS, the shipping fee is calculated according to the weight that the seller set.

But, if you are using the consolidate method, the warehouse will calculate the shipping charges according to either the actual weight or volumetric weight whichever that is higher.

In this case, the consolidate method charges a higher shipping charges may be because it is calculated based on the volumetric weight.

i facing this problem now, parcel reach 2 weeks ago at custom, keep pending for custom clearest, until i call up airpak, the staff told me, not custom check everything, and today i email to airpak, the customer service reply me, said my parcel pending to pay duty tax RM 103++ !!! and i don't even know my parcel is pending for duty tax, no call, no email, nothing... until i call and email and check only know..

what is this, my parcel total is only below RM 300 ... previously i didn't face all this problem... anyone facing this??

U need to check whether ur item is subject to import duty. This happen everyday regardless of the total amount of ur imported item.
There is import duty and gst (over 500)

thought of combine with other stuff in warehouse but end up expensive shipping for the item.
