1) all the while I only use official forwarder. (if you browse on Global.Taobao.com, unless you use www.Taobao.com which allow you to use 3rd Party One (but Taobao also endosed them), also there are also some other 3rd Party not endosed by Taobao)

2) As long you use official one, the official forwarder will get the order on their system, whether the parcel they received or not is depend on seller got provide the tracking or not. Just like my previous case, order already, but forever shown on the system pending shipping, because seller got ship to my forwarder warehouse (forwarder will sign anything whatever they got it) but seller failed at providing the tracking to my forwarder, so they don't know they already signed the stuff which in fact belongs to me.

3) if 3rd party shipping, you need to manually select which and what to send and then pay again. Unlike official one that do all the jobs for you without you to worry anything (if touchwood nothing bad happen). But if you ask me, if you are really can read Chinese and tech savvy enough, use 3rd party are better, because they do re-pack, and cheaper, and you can know which already signed/received or pending or missing or change of mind return back to seller (which still inside China) and more reason!

I've tried both official and 3rd party, so far I've only shipped a couple times and my first 3rd party freight shipping is on its way, so touch wood i dont encounter such issues above, but I'm just curious so want to expect what sort of things can go wrong and why.

Meanwhile, my 2nd batch purchase got screw up again. last batch got 2 left out of 5 items. Now I got 1 left out out of 11 items. Whats wrong with the Official forwarding.

I got another tracking after I talk to the support, it said pending shipping at export there since 29 of Nov. but should be arriving next week, anything I will drop a msg here, so make sure you subs to this thread will see anyone else reply here at notification.

Which 3rd party do you use, how's the price like?

I've encountered some freight shipping that only calculate actual weight instead of volumetric weight but not sure how good or reliable they are...
While the ones i've seen good reviews I kena volumetric weight.. from 5kg becomes 8kg.. =,=;;

Ooh, I always use the china taobao so I never see that oriental company lol...

My "official" I mean by 4PX, Prouter - these two I've used before but I kinda like 4PX service, quite prompt so far.

By 3rd party I mean the outside shipping companies.

oh. If you mean, outside of shipping companies also inside at Taobao, it just won't as straight forward as those implemented into the Taobao system. I know which you talking about.
