Never try before, but this method might works (theorically)
1. Depend whether seller want you to ship back or not (nego with seller)
2. If no proceed below, if Yes, please ship back and do your own math see which more worthy by calculating the shipping cost or just buy a new one. (shipping back to China IS NOT CHEAP!)
3. So how they gonna ship you when you are using forwarding? well, simple. talk to seller, and explain your situation to him (fingercross he understand, as most seller do not aware taobao does ship oversea by using forwarding)
So ask them like this method, I click the same items into my cart, ask them set to 0.01Yuan, pay it and send to your forwarding as usual method. of course when they took back your faulty product first.
Usually I return my products under free return policy periods, lets say I change my mind after my product reach my forwarding warehouse. I select send back or refund.
So this is my 1st time experience, return the product from Malaysia back into China and the seller does refund back to me. What a amazing experience. From I place the order and I received in Malaysia tooks around 7days, and sending back to him took another 2 weeks. And money from Taobao refund back into my Alipay tooks another 1 weeks.
IT DOES NOT STOP HERE. Alipay verify my amount and waiting my Credit Card bank to go through that gonna take 1 more weeks. My CC bank just verify the amount 3 days ago, and now I need another 3 weeks (ETA shown in the Alipay dashboard) before the amount show in my statement/account.
