I'm interested to try out that DxO camera.

When are you guys organizing the gathering? Would be tempted to join if I can get my iphone on the 1st day laugh.gif

the spirit of gathering is long dead.
gone are the days when we use to gather like minded people from this forum to meet up and discuss reviews or get a chance to see in person iPhones which were not released in malaysia or even in singapore back then.

The add says Rm3199. Is this the right link you posted?
It cant be Local Manufacturer warranty as the 6s/6s+ is not launched here yet.
*
Yeah it's right. I'm sure of it.

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Oct 4 2015, 11:27 PM)
I normally post how I feel and my impression of the products I use on Facebook. But that's a dead end, I curate and filter who gets to see what on my Facebook feeds, meaning I dont allow anyone access to social networking with my credentials on it, until I've met them and feel comfortable adding them. Privacy is important to me.

I'll try to see what I can come up with, it's been disheartening looking at the state of the forum these days, I'm less inclined to post something (much less a review) and the post get buried under tons of useless posts.
*
For me, none of my Facebook friends share the same hobby as mine, hence forced me to spend most of my time reading those posts (useful & useless) here. At some point, I required to discuss or ask opinion thru PM, as around my place, people are not tend to update so much about latest gadget.

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Oct 4 2015, 11:32 PM)
Nope. At that price he's either selling it near or below market price from Singapore or Hong Kong. Hence warranty from those two locations you can wriggle your way around the local AASPs.
*
Hmm, based on previous experience, will local 6s price will be cheaper than Sg's? Do you think local 6s will be lower than 3k for 16gb? It's confirmed Sg unit. I think should be no much issue to claim for warranty.

i got to heard from my one my frd working in maxis authorised dealer, stating tht maxis not going to offer i value anymore....no more 1 year contract..

they are trying to promote their maxis one plan....

(i m not sure, this is just what i heard)

If that's true it really sucks, no more every year changing phones and pay$$$ to get enough data and what's the point for so much calls, even salesmen nowadays use whatsapp.

I started using the 6S+ 64 since Friday. My impressions compared to the 6+ I had previously:

1. Battery life is a lot better. I am not sure if it's because of iOS or the chip but it obviously last much longer compared to my 6+

2. Speed is amazing. If you play games then you would notice everything loads up so much faster and graphics are crisp. Apart from that, I also notice faster 4G/Wifi on the same network so the new LTE chip in the phone did make a huge difference.

3. On paper the weight says 20g heavier. While it seems quite substantial (we're talking about 10% increase in weight), it's negligible.

4. The 3D Touch might not be very useful at this point in time because you can still easily navigate through normal methods.

5. The extra RAM makes iOS a lot smoother and you don't need to get into Safari waiting for the page to refresh. It stays as per where you left and same behavior like the iPad Air 2 which I have.

Conclusion: Overall, it's a great buy and am happy with it biggrin.gif

Very good review, making me can't wait to get mine. I have every iPhone since 2G except iPhone 3G, I can tell the significant improvement on every iphones I owned. I am pretty sure this one make a bigger jump on its 2GB ram and 3D touch especially when jb it out.

Seriously boss, the speed improvement is noticeable biggrin.gif I wasn't expecting that but all my websites load much faster in 4G. Apart from that it's super fast in everything else. The 6+ was a bit laggy/sluggish when it was launched last year but this time along, Apple made it right. The Live Photos are a bit hit and miss though; a bit cock up sometimes, haha.

If you do a bit of house keeping sometimes then 64GB should be enough? I'm not sure how you use it for but it's obviously better to spend a bit more for 128GB if you really utilize it.

Yup, battery life is fantastic! Certainly a big jump from 6+ last year. Do you have lots of tabs in Safari? I normally have 2-3 so it doesn't refresh when I get back in.
