Is there no other way to waive Annual Fee (RM600+RM36) this year? I'm using Citibank Platinum. Usage approx. 25k-40k per year. Yet they said they only can waive half of it.

Grrr....

I tried to nego but immediately being panalized to downgraded from premier miles to choice card (silver status).
I will keep the choice card for a while since I still have some instalment purchases. Will cancel it once the instalment finished. Will not use the card for any retail purchases.

I can't
Bought SenQ electric appliances with their interest free instalment plan. Need to hold till the instalments finish. Meanwhile will show them middle finger by not spending using the cards. They are the arrogance and ego card provider, don't bother to loose customer

Hi all

Anyone applied for Citibank Cash Back Credit Card thru RinggiPlus website?
https://ringgitplus.com/en/credit-card/Citi...redit-Card.html

What is the process like and is there any catch?

Also, it says the annual fee RM 127.20 is waived when swiped 3 times within 60 days approval, is this waiver only for the first year?

Appreciate your comments guys laugh.gif

Yes for first year only. For subsequent years, you need to call for waiver request.

I applied mine from RP.

To those who have used Citibank CC for years, what are the chances I can get my 2nd and 3rd year annual fees waived??

Any indication or its purely based on their system (from the previous comments)?

Otherwise, i wont even apply...

The current Citibank Cash Back Platinum is my 2nd cash back card after my 1st card can't get AF waiver.

Hello guys,

Just got my premier miles card.

About the airport lounge, is it true that we can enter without any condition? Like spend how much with the card or spend oversea terms in order to enter the lounge?

Can enter the KLIA 2 ppl?

Called today and asked for waiver of annual fee for my Citibank Premier miles. Was offered half waiver + 10,000premier miles. Considering the conversion to actual miles, it is so not worth it. Requested the CS to change into a different card but she hesitated. Pushed her a bit and she became impatient. Tone of voice changed and she reluctantly said will "appeal" for fee waiver and call back within 3 working days. I hate the feeling of begging for waiver but I'm stuck on the installment plan! Sheesh!!
