Called today and asked for waiver of annual fee for my Citibank Premier miles. Was offered half waiver + 10,000premier miles. Considering the conversion to actual miles, it is so not worth it. Requested the CS to change into a different card but she hesitated. Pushed her a bit and she became impatient. Tone of voice changed and she reluctantly said will "appeal" for fee waiver and call back within 3 working days. I hate the feeling of begging for waiver but I'm stuck on the installment plan! Sheesh!!

half waiver not worth it, and it cost you 10,000 premier miles some more (equvalent to RM30K spending)
you can convert to other card, your instalment plan will automatically changed to the new card.

for the frequent traveller, the free budget taxi rides can save u a lot of money. that is the only benefit the premier miles card offers.

i choose to re-apply after 3 months, when the cooling off period is over.

Yes 3 transactions regardless of amount.
Can go to one shop buy 3 items and swipe the cards 3 times. Or pay anything.

They have more customers than they can handle.
I swipe RM100k per year also they don't offer me 50% waiver, tell me take it or leave it.

Rely on credit card yes because I use it mostly for air ticket purchases, hotel accommodations, donation and monthly utilities.

The thing is i paid 100% on time every month without fail for the last 8 years, that is the key issue because they can't charge me the 15% p.a. interest. Mine considered low margin biz/ customers.

Yup, IF You're Not subscribing any Category at 2nd Year or Onwards,
There will be NO AF charge to the Card & You can get Only RM1= 1 Rewards point. nod.gif

Btw, I'm also a CT Rewards Plat. Card holder since 2014... smile.gif
