actually the car cannot feel the vibration, the steering all no much vibration, just the rattling sound very bad it feels like is vibration. actually my replied is above lol.

i'm curious as my car is now 7 years and only do service in proton authorized centres.

Guys, anyone know how to clean the turbocharger? I just changed the air intake hose due to some crack, and it is like very sticky and black stuff i can see.. i think better to have it cleaned..

Better take it to a specialist. A bit of mistake & the turbine's performance can get out of whack.

Recently i drove my preve for few days due to my civic send for repair. Felt like the car no power compare years ago, is like when press throttle the car feel very suggish, not as responsive. vibration those still ok, no feel like abnormal noise on engine. anything need to do do make the car get back its performance? Probably need overhaul ka?

Oh ya car i see no keluar black smoke or wat, the exhaust all still clean air out.

I would try to clean the air filter & throttle body first.

forgot to update here, after change the air filter, the car so much diff in the power delivery. checked the OBD using torque pro app, really can see the air intake is much higher pressure im getting compare before. now vibration and during reverse and feel like the car will delay abit, is it due to clutch issue? also, if when drive highway feel the steering very light and unstable, this normally is wat problem?

steering rack bush

I think i change once before few years back, normally is it that fast got problem? Possible driveshaft or absorber or suspension problem ka?

I've changed original steering rack bush (2 small 1 big) 3 sets in a year
fed up
now I use red silicone type, soft PU (not the hard hard) type and it is holding up so far so good

but, now steering rack leaking after 140k km
not sure if is caused by using 17 inch rim with 215 section tyre, or the bush caused it

Mine i change silicone type blue color but maybe silicon softer then less durable? The red PU is from moungtingking right? Im think should change all bushing or not since car already 11 year old.

not mounting king, some unknown brand, red color, quite soft

in terms of durability, as long as it able to hold the shape should be ok, I just went highway during year end, the car felt ok
the original type is not solid rubber bushing, as you can see it has 4 round knobs and those breakdown faster. once breakdown, the steering rack cannot center, so the car always lari left, or right, and when you go over uneven area will have kuk kuk noise, other mounting also can cause this noise, but it's more often caused by steering rack bush in my case

anyone know how to disable auto fold for preve side mirror? cos 1 side macam the motor not working, can hear sound but it is not folding, maybe the tooth/gear worn out.

Few years ago, what i did to my preve side mirror was, I opened up the side mirror and disconnected the wire cable that was connected to side mirror motor, this method worked well for my preve, not sure yours. Disadvantage was no more autoflip function for the car. i think there are videos in youtube that you see how to open up the preve side mirror.

Hey guys, I was just sitting in my car one day and engine is running just playing phone when suddenly I noticed my cluster meter flickered.

Then I waited for it to happen again and after two times, engine suddenly died. Can start again as usual but this thing currently happening once in a while. This is new and never happened before. Not sure what causing it.

Anyone has any history of this happening or know the cause of it?

Battery is new replaced last month. Other than that the car is running well.

happen to me long time ago, the day before it happen, meter and light all flicker during driving night time, lucky reach home, next day early morning, start car all normal, proceed to go to workplace, and suddenly during driving 60-80kmh, all just dead, steer left while still moving slowly, call towing, go SC, found alternator kong already...lucky still in warranty, change FOC.

ah, so there is a chance that it's the alternator is it. hmm okay thank you!
