Mine fused 2-3 times. According to the Proton guy who replaced the light bulb, it is due to the use of the "Auto-light" feature that caused the bulb to fail. He advised not to put the lights on Auto mode if you want to preserve the bulb.
I changed the light bulb at the Proton service centre. When the bulb failed within 6 months, replacement of the new light bulb is free of charge. It is stated in the invoice in that the warranty for the light bulb is 6 months from installation.
i also found out is becos of this auto light function too.. becos if auto-light, the car when dark around 5.30pm like tat the light will on already, summore early morning u start car, indoor, also the light will on.. and imagine u start car with the lights on. then on and off on and off, filament sure not so good one. If is LED is ok becos LED actually on and off all the while in a very fast manner, naked eye cannot see, maybe 1sec on and off 300 times like tat..I changed the light bulb at the Proton service centre. When the bulb failed within 6 months, replacement of the new light bulb is free of charge. It is stated in the invoice in that the warranty for the light bulb is 6 months from installation.
