So...you rather live with the faulty gpu than getting a properly functional gpu?

Logically, if you spend RM900+ for gpu, better get the most out of it even if it means paying extra for RMA.

Guys, been wondering to ask, does the Radeon R9 200 series support DX12? Or is it upgrading time for all of us?

Just make sure you aware of the VRR window limitation. What is the model?

All GCN support DX12.

GCN 1.0 support DX12 with feature level 11_1 and GCN 1.1/1.2 support DX12 with feature level 12_0.

you mean the 35-90hz for mg279q ?

Yeah done my research on that but I think even if switch to fury x it wont be hitting above 90hz unless talking about older games

Yeah, you gonna miss Raster Order View (ROV) and Conservative Rasterization from feature level 12_1.

Not that big deal btw since only a very small percentage of DX12 cards support that feature, even current gen consoles didn't support it.

Do try swap the top and bottom configurations between the two cards. Aim for the one with less discrepancy between two cards.

Put a better cooled card as primary as it usually the first card that loads more than second card. It also depends on your case airflow.
