Yes, according to TTL, he saw some mockups/prototypes of the Fury in all its custom glory.

It looks like we might be seeing custom AIB cards from day 1 for the Fury. All the more reason why Fury images were not release. I could be wrong tho.

Pricing doesn't sound right, considering a custom 980Ti costs about the same... hmm.gif

Asus strix certainly will cool down this beast well, hand itchy to buy r9 fury but my CPU is still FX8350 scared will bottleneck this beast. Hopefully dx12 will improve fx cpu performance hopefully hahahahaha.....

yeah vapor x will certainly improve cooling to the max on air, damn fury x so tempting wub.gif . Id say air cooled fury will certainly give the 980ti a run for its money thumbup.gif

I doubt that..the 980Ti is way faster..with all we have seen air id say cooled fury would still be ahead of GTx 980 and 390x. Maybe it might be better on price/perf ratio

most benchmarks i saw its like slight margin of difference its not that far from the 980ti, yeah ur right price/performance will be spot on on air cooled

Fury non X is a cut die on some stream processor, and run on air cooling.

If Fury X can't get a clear win on 980TI, I seriously doubt Fury Vanilla can do so, just saying.

i dont think 8350 will bottleneck a single fury x.. last time i used it with 290s no issue at all. but for sure 8350 need to be overclock.

Its a temporary lockdown. It will be unlock eventually.

Anyway I would like to thank anyone who advice me regarding the AIO adapter earlier. The VRM is one tough cookie to cool down.

MSI AF activate it.. i have unlock it smile.gif but.. is average clock.. i manage to get 560Mhz mem without crashing the benchmark.. this with Core clock to 1125Mhz.. x

But there Gentleman name of # royfrosty on overclock net up load his benchmark score for game...

hm FEAR... sad.gif when boost Core/Mem 1,130Mhz/600Mhz Volt 40% it got artifact so i default it Find safest (without Crash Benchmark/Artifact) is Core/Mem1124mhz/560Mhz. so weird temp under 55C during load..

yeah got dual bios.. able to reset incase i screw up bios it auto restore.. but not gone to that blue/black screen yet.. eh scare la.. i think i wait when time fury X is more available market so i can RMA just in case i over do it.. but at moment is solid.. but wish i could break 19K Graphic score on 3dmark

Currently getting ready for games like FO4 end of this year. 380/380x/390 worth getting over their predecessors? 280x/290x? Got big diff worth the price between them?

hurm..8gb vs 4gb..even though the difference is quite large..but framerate for 1080p game is not to much difference around 2-5fps..if u got money buy r9 390x(RM1650++)..if ur budget is tight get a r9 290x(RM1300++)

Memory size don't affect frame-rate when games don't eat over the memory limit.

8GB is a little overkill for 1080p but again, the general rule is the more the better, who knows one day you might consider a multi cards setup or interested with some heavy mods/textures in game, those are time where huge VRAM cards will shine over the default cards.

im not very up to date with nvidia stuff tongue.gif I dont know what I should get for nvidia been following amd since forever. Im also on tight budgets so unless nvidia has better options at same price as 280x I'll have to stick to AMD.
