Still remember when Kraken G10 just launch, it don't work too well with 290x cause the VRM is not cooled and can get hot to over 100C when loaded.

If you go for this path, I think better have some modding and add dedicated fans + heatsink for VRM.

If u have 1080p than fury X is lackluster on that resolution.

im using artic accelero hybrid for both of my r9 290s.. with +50mv, max core temp at 58c, max vrm temp at 78c... heatsink already included with the package. but its EOL already..

The reason why Im using AMD is because GTX 970 memory fiasco. The thing I read on the web isnt pretty, like nvidia drops performance tweak on Kepler is just too much. On AMD side isnt that much prettier where the frame rate limiter is only limited to Fury cards, but a simple registry tweak could enable it on any cards (just like VSR on older cards). AMD cards IMO are more cater towards enthusiasts because they promote tweaking, but a lot of people just annoyed because they dont incude things mentioned as default.

It looks like we might be seeing custom AIB cards from day 1 for the Fury. All the more reason why Fury images were not release. I could be wrong tho.
