According to them, AMD will create the R9 Fury by enabling 56 of the 64 compute units on the silicon, yielding 3,584 stream processors. This sets the TMU count at 224. We doubt AMD will tinker with the render back-ends, and so the ROP count could remain at 64. The memory configuration could remain untouched, at 4 GB of 4096-bit HBM.
It'll be no suprise if the nano is more expensive than Fury X. It is essentially a Fury x, with just a lower clockspeed. Everything else is equal. You can dump a fury bios, and run it with custom wc. The R9 nano will be the better binned of the Fiji chip.
He's just predicting with the reasons being having no competition for that form factor.
Ah wells. I thought the nano would be a slightly more affordable Fiji.
yes predicting.. Small form factor i saw GTX 970 but R9 Nano come with new HBM.. high bandwidth memory not even their competitor have that tech.. so i am sure there no competitor could really match if compare board to board tech.. +4ooo Stream processor and 8.9billion transistor.. hm hard to get competitor for it indeed, i did not heard R9 Nano be price as lower than Flagship but been advertise as a First small form GPU running new HBM with all Fiji chip have to offer but running lower core/mem clock.. but let's just wait..

Nobody going to buy that if they price it higher than the Fury X. Based on AMD 2x Performance/Watt and 175watt TDP claim, i expect the R9 Nano will perform similar or slightly better than the R9-290x. Green camp have mini GTX 970 at that form factor and performance range.

But nano is still shorter than 970ITX, also 970 ITX's performance is a little limited compared to full size 970.
A price above 290x is still sensible, price it above Fury (or even Fury X) without justification in performance simply wouldn't work.
