Currently getting ready for games like FO4 end of this year. 380/380x/390 worth getting over their predecessors? 280x/290x? Got big diff worth the price between them?

hello,  saw signature your using Nvidia..  hm why don't you go for GTX 970 if your gaming on 1080P it should serve you well..  icon_rolleyes.gif

im not very up to date with nvidia stuff tongue.gif I dont know what I should get for nvidia been following amd since forever. Im also on tight budgets so unless nvidia has better options at same price as 280x I'll have to stick to AMD.

hurm..8gb vs 4gb..even though the difference is quite large..but framerate for 1080p game is not to much difference around 2-5fps..if u got money buy r9 390x(RM1650++)..if ur budget is tight get a r9 290x(RM1300++)
*
mm icic, I think i'll just go for the old gen, not much worth the difference.

oh are you getting for gaming Fallout 4 ?  Sapphire R9 380  with 4Gb performance nice..  base on Tonga and GCN 1.2 support DX12  if your really into AMD Graphic..  for 620W your Graphic option is good.. except budget RM900..  Nvidia GTX 960  hmm.gif  maybe  check out GTX 970 seconhand but i don't see them lower their price under RM1K even so R9 290x equal or a bit better..  in gaming of course.
*
yeap its for Fallout 4. i,ll see if i can scrounge up but for now im still open to advice and recommendations. i,ll go read up on 960 and 970 happy.gif any brand preference I should look for?

my HD7850 died. What is a comparable replacement? I dont need top of the line model, as I only play dota on this weekend pc. Probably something costing about RM700?

Had the chance to try the gtx950 recently, but I mainly play LOL. Though I still can recommend it if you can get it for a good price, good enough for playing MOBA games.

Guys my 2nd AMD card died on me few days ago, same thing happened with my previous card, if it's plugged in my PC won't even power up but the last time I OC'ed my 7950 but now my 7970 I didn't do anything except clean my PC with a hair dryer which i've always done with no problem. Anyone with AMD card have this situation before?

If I plug in the graphic card and try to power up it fails then if I unplug it, I still can't power up unless I remove the ATX power connector from the motherboard and reconnect it again. I've tried inserting my spare graphic card and it works so I don't think PCI-E slot problem.
