Memory size don't affect frame-rate when games don't eat over the memory limit.
8GB is a little overkill for 1080p but again, the general rule is the more the better, who knows one day you might consider a multi cards setup or interested with some heavy mods/textures in game, those are time where huge VRAM cards will shine over the default cards.
ya i know right..but gta 5 eat almost 5gb vram on my gtx 980ti with 1080p resolution
im not very up to date with nvidia stuff I dont know what I should get for nvidia been following amd since forever. Im also on tight budgets so unless nvidia has better options at same price as 280x I'll have to stick to AMD. mm icic, I think i'll just go for the old gen, not much worth the difference.

Well.. would recommend u to get r9 290 (2nd if u on a budget) if u playing on 1080p... u can get it less than rm900 R9 280x... would not recommend since its quite an old card.. using gcn1.. previously used r9 280x myself

IINM, Unseen83 currently selling his 290x Vapor-X for RM1k. One of the best non-ref 290x imo.

If i recall correctly, he just sold his 7950 so his upgrade path should be at least an R9-290.

oh are you getting for gaming Fallout 4 ? Sapphire R9 380 with 4Gb performance nice.. base on Tonga and GCN 1.2 support DX12 if your really into AMD Graphic.. for 620W your Graphic option is good.. except budget RM900.. Nvidia GTX 960 maybe check out GTX 970 seconhand but i don't see them lower their price under RM1K even so R9 290x equal or a bit better.. in gaming of course.
