QUOTE(TheHitman47 @ Jun 26 2015, 05:34 PM) not sure, but as the quote..980ti and titan x still dominating for lower reso. U guys really need to game at 4k. oso, as gold said..aa is not 4k thing. Any form of af needs aa. Ure using pixel pitch as an excuse. Aka the inability of ure eyes to distinguish jaggies so to say there is no need. Which is false. Jaggies still there. Resolution doesnt fix jaggies. If tonight free will post some screenshots. You guys really need to update ureself more. This topic already been covered in ocn. You wont find anyone there anymore spouting no aa required for 4k. This post has been edited by cstkl1: Jun 26 2015, 05:53 PM |

Even if not ure monitor is doing it with the response rate and bad overdrive i guess.get it..playing. not finding jaggies pixel .. u must be going crazy if play minecraft.."nooo my games is soo jaggy!!" "cant finish this batman...too jaggy." batman almost done lol.. no jaggies here at 4k. AA is needed u guys just dont want to accept the fact. cause the alternative ppl would be comfortable with the amount of vram they have. anyway end of this banter as it reminiscence the same beginning of whether ssd needed for gaming and 8gb needed for gaming etc.. now everybody is using it and forgot their earlier remarks. |

QUOTE(skylinelover @ Jun 26 2015, 10:22 PM) haha last time people always says the longer the better Small is the new 'in' things now. Remember colossal E-ATX computer cases back then? Now people got a fetish of building PC the size of a small shoebox. I don't go there, upgrade-ability would be limited, so what's the point of buying a desktop and limited to one expansion slot? now its so odd seeing people saying the shorter the better |

This is akin reminiscence that time. and its not my pov. Its a fact. Proven Fact. Ures is a POV. |

Almost no performance hit and not much VRAM usage for AA... zero stuttering. No stuttering on the batman? but not really happy that the current batman is using the same sli as CODAW which is AFR1 and that has not been solved until today. Single gpu seems the only way to play it. This post has been edited by cstkl1: Jun 26 2015, 10:31 PM |

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Jun 26 2015, 12:00 PM) So not true. er, sure if you want photo of 4K AA and no AA. Need AA whenever a game uses AF. Well this arguement is best settled with monitors n still shot. The Need for AA arguement already won in ocn. Summary those who said no aa is required endorses no af is required. They overcome with pixel pitch. Its more like neglecting graphic fidelity with pixel pitch. Remember the good old days where CRT monitors got bigger but resolution didn't? That's when AA helps remove jaggies. Consoles back then didn't need AA because those CRT TV units are interlaced. AA went on and on and on but until now. The logic behind no AA required on 4K is that the pixel density is huge that you won't be seeing jaggies. I haven't read the OCN thing you mentioned but what level of AA are you referring to btw? 8xAA used to be great but as time went on I ended up gaming with usually only 2xAA or 4xAA. And 4K with AA is really a killer. QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Jun 26 2015, 05:52 PM) Ure using pixel pitch as an excuse. Aka the inability of ure eyes to distinguish jaggies so to say there is no need. Which is false. ehhh it was due to resolution vs actual screen size that lead to jaggies that lead to introduction of AA.Jaggies still there. Resolution doesnt fix jaggies. If tonight free will post some screenshots. |
