Computex 2016 will be held on May 30th to June 3rd.  icon_idea.gif

Coincidentally, at that time nVidia will release the GTX1080 - but I wonder whether this is a paper launch...  Hopefully it is not a paper launch.  sweat.gif

I believe nvidia will release the "founder edition" ver of cards 1st... will release normal price product after AMD's polaris came out. Lets see what are the AMD tactics to deal with this. rumors say that polaris 10 performance is quite close to 390x performance with lower power consumptions.

Bad idea. Let nvidia roll out first.

By the time rx480 hits the market, green camp already pushing 1060 to negate the advantage of rx480. To me, timing is important... if amd floods 480 to market way before the nvidia, nvidia has no choice but to lower 1070 price to counter this.

Polaris launches June 29th while 1070 launches officially 7th.
At this rate, I don't think the 1060 is rolling out anytime soon, since rumor has it that the 1060 is a cut down 1070 too........so unless TSMC is shiit at manufacturing 14nm, I don't think we're gonna be seeing that many 1060s anytime soon biggrin.gif
*
I heard that 1060 is 50% of 1080 spec. It might waiting for the market respond of rx480. If rx480 sells like hot cakes, I bet nvidia will desperately push its 1060 products more aggressively in terms of price... or reduce 1070 price if 1060 cant compete with rx480.
