if buy from seller 2 sets is rm 920 ehh....if same filter i will buy straight...because 1 cartridge is different...have to think twice now....

Because that is retail and you are not member le ,there are always member and retail difference, same to any club or any shop membership.

Of course...You just need to know online unit is come from where even oversea, of course not direct from Amway company right, those distributor bought it out like store to earn points then sell it out at cheaper price, who gonna bare the defect of the product the distributor sell? If the distributor still sell at same price, do you think ppl still will buy online plus shipping fee some more and those complicated procedure?

I know one uncle distributor straight bought 50k (money) of the Atmosphere Drive car atmosphere then only slowly sell out. There is always this type of people....

Amway and 3M local lah.

3M got it in 2011 before move in, they got promotion AP902 + DWS 1000 only 2k+-. I was eyeing on AP902 because of its compact size. They have offer get two for 2k+, why not.

Amway, last year or was it this year.. trade in old amway water filter, got some good discount.

This is just 1 of the example, desperate time desperate measure, either the stock is older than 1 year or already got issue or used unit.
Most of the time these sell as open box unit. Some more already quit Amway, you buy liao is your "Dai Ji" (problem) liao.
This is not something new already, many people already kena before, want cheap but bought problematic products end up need repair and found out the unit not even belongs to the seller.
Some just wanna get higher level Emerald, Diamond or whatever level, just saja siok, willing to let go all stocks 50% off. Malaysia last year so many Diamonds but you go check only a few get recognition from Amway.
As a wise consumer, he/she will know something fishy behind the cheap price, who wanna do rugi business??
I even have customers at Johor & SG, they get full bonuses & rebate that they deserve

Spare parts easy to get hard to replace yourself. The entire smart chip monitoring module is sealed, and those chips are sensitive as well.

got ppl also sell the whole units leh. usa market so big. who knows. what also they have for sale. besides maybe got video show u how to take apart those things.
anyway dont need bother this espring when u can have so many solution below 1k now.

Interesting to see Amway agent caution buyers not to buy eSpring filters which are out of warranty period. Indeed this is a very professional and honest advice from oyching88.
It reminds me of my brother's eSpring. The electronic board spoilt just 1 year after warranty period. The high repair cost just not justifiable to proceed with the repair and my brother didn't repair it and temporary use it without power up (no UV) until the lifespan of the cartridge ends.

IMHO, those electronic smart features, sensor, RFID, LED display are nice to have but the bottom line is electronic being electronic, it will fail sooner or later. For budget conscious consumers, avoid plug-in water filter with electronic parts at all cost. The electronic smart chip is a pro for eSpring but at the same time,
a con for eSpring too. Actually, to be more precise, the con is......... repair cost too expensive and no one else but Amway can repair it. Otherwise my brother would have repair it.

i doubt the accuracy of the electronic board...my parents home is using espring...the filter just about 7 months...the warning to change filter start...so bring back to the agent and said my parent already use up to 5000 ltr...so i ask detail average how much water use per day...only drinking and cooking on sat and sun...daily use i believe less than 10 liters...so 365 days only 3650 liters...not possible to exceed 5000 liters...some more it just only 7 months....wtf!!!!
