Gee..! A PoE filter used as PoU prefilter    Too much overkill bro, if it meant for family usage. It can last years and years before it gets clogged but you forgot about the manufacturer's recommended 1 year cartridge replacement interval. It will be such a waste for underutilization. The max you can extend the replacement up to 2 years before the bacterial built up or filter material starts deteriorating. I suggest you move the AP902 out door for whole house filtration and replace a new PoU in the under sink.
As for your concern about people stealing it, I'm of the opinion that petty thief is more interested in your branded snickers then dismantling a water filter. The only value left for the thief is the AP902 filter head as he wouldnt know for sure how long the cartridge has been used.

3M AP902 filter head is only RM32 in Taobao. No need so susah to steal

To those who are planning to buy the RM2600++ 3M DWS2500T-CN, There is a cheaper no frill version of DWS2500-CN (without the "T") @ half the price RM1300++ here:-

This no frill version is using the same DWS2500-C-CN replacement cartridge as in the RM2600++ unit but without the fancy housing, digital display, cartridge replacement indicator and pre-filter is using standard 10" filter housing.

Not sure this head can ngam with DWS2500-C-CN or not but I think all DWS series should be sharing the same head.

On second look, yes can be used for DWS2500.

Got la, available in abundance. Cheapest I've found is RM102.68. You buy two AP3 heads and then buy the ori 3M DWS2500T double cartridges locally and you got yourself a 3M RM2600++ PoU system minus the fancy housing and digital display.

this is for Ap Cystss, wont fit DWS2500. 3M filters are not really compatible, change here n there, they specifically design 1 head for 1 model.

EG : AP EASY / AP CYSS / DWS1000 / DWS2500 all different connection, not compatible.

Just wondering, why are they able to sell just the head in Tmall? 3M wont do such thing. So, those heads are manufactured by a compatible factory not 3M? or really sold by 3M? If really sold by 3M, they are ruining their business for brand new filter right, why would they do so? Hence, i assume it is sold by other factories not original 3M. My guess only ya
