This is a new counter top design, can't use it for undersink installation. Sharing the same 3M NSF certified C Complete cartridge as in AP Easy Complete.
If you want cheaper option and undersink installation, go for the RM350 3M CTM-01. After one year usage, replace the cartridge with C Complete. You will get same water quality as in CTM-02.

Things to compare when you shop for a water filter

1) technology it uses for filtration -> what contaminats it can remove?
2) methods to kill off bacteria & viruses
3) does the water still contain beneficial minerals
4) company background
5) maintenance

for company background....example: panasonic, elba more more trustly compare to others??like cuckoo, coway.....etc

Expensive not always the better, when comes to water filter, there are few aspects to look in.
1) The technology behind the filter, can they do what the sales representative claims?
2) 3rd party certification, everyone will definitely tell you their's the best, so have some research on 3rd party certification such as NSF, WQA, they are non profit public organizations certifying peripherals around the world.
3) The maintenance cost & time, look into a longer time period rather then the initial price. Some offers cheap price but after sales service is bad & the filter replacement are hard to get. You should look for something that is best value rather then just pricing.

Water filter is not something that we buy frequently, look for something that can last long so that you no need to headache about clogging, pipe bursting, filter crack, etc. In the end, do some studies and choose what's suite you most is the most important.

You pointed those company because of advertisements. It's just a way of promoting products.

Amway in May will have some trade in old filter promotion. Can go check out the price. My mom replacing 1st gen Amway filter to newer one next month.

Look at your budget, than certificate they have, and if all things equal, get better know brand. E.g. being everything equal, you chooses Panasonic or cuckoo? Or some brand promoted here?

Those that looking to change old filter, you can save a lot.
