QUOTE(KevC1018 @ Dec 11 2015, 02:25 PM) You have to look into overall bro. It's best if you check your MZD fuel consumption data analyze. Look at the picture which I've took. The avg FC is hard for you to judge. That is really close to what i get Basically, you need to know how you want to control your speed on the highway. Well, basically in city, you can hardly control due to the jam. Your speed have to be constant in order m3 system to show you the accurate display. If you 10 mins step 90 kph then the next 110 kph, then next 50kph, and so on, how can m3 system show you an accurate display, if you get what i mean. It's best if you observe the current FC instead of the average. For my guess, m3 system will take 90kph + 110 kph + 50kph + so on / the time running = average FC. So far, if at constant speed, yes, i find it 80% accurate. The other 20% base on approximity / roughly (example, m3 shows 780km and u can roughly estimate 750km @ 90kph.) Here are the pictures of the km I've been travelling from Damansara to Penang with just 1 fuel tank. ![]() Above is the full tank before i travel to Penang. Notice that is already running 24.1km. ![]() Above is the M3 system on economy Fuel consumption menu. Driving on 90 kph @ 4.6 ltr/ 100km ![]() Above driving on 90kph after more than an hour @ 4.5 ltr/ 100km ![]() Above driving on 110kph going back to Damansara. ![]() Above driving on 110kph reaching Damansara. ![]() Above is the total km which i m about to refill ![]() Above refilled. The km updated shows 797km which I'm able to drive at 110kph constantly. ![]() Above is the price I've pump. 34.41 liter @ RM67.10 - RM1.95 per liter Note that M3 is a 51 liter car. That gives me remaining of 16.59 liter. Hope this give an overall that m3 is a fuel saving car depends on the speed you are going. Above is 90kph and 110kph day trip. Well, enjoy your ride with M3 guys. =) 90kmh gets around ~4.5l/100km 100kmh gets around ~5.0l/100km 110kmh gets around ~5.5l/100km Mine is GL spec...don't have cruise control to ensure constant speed...tried my best to have constant speed for as long as possible with my foot. QUOTE(Aizat2402 @ Dec 14 2015, 07:15 PM) Service centre told me to change strut bearing (instead of lower arm bush) as this service bulletin has been announced for Mazda 3, CX5 and (if i didn't hear wrongly what the advisor said) the Mazda 6. For me, they just tell me to fix a date. So i presume they have all the parts they need. I'm on JB side though. |

Recently the sound is becoming more noticeable every time after rain. Feels like inside an old saga cab. |

I scheduled mine to get it done on new year day as they don't accept such non scheduled works on weekends and I don't have leave other than that day. I'll drop a note here when it's done.Recently the sound is becoming more noticeable every time after rain. Feels like inside an old saga cab. If you look at the past postings, there were some people that reported some got their bushes changed and it fixed their problem; some just reported that tightening the nuts and bolts solved them; others say the service centre put the bump stop and it settled theirs; mine say change strut bearing. So as of to date got 4 methods in dealing with the noisy suspension But definitely not a good impression on the CKD Mazda 3 here despite it really is a good drive. On the side note, my mum's CBU batch W205 C Class came with a weird fuel injection noise not too long after driving it out from the showroom. So even la...because even premium brand also suffer some problems in the early days This post has been edited by wkc5657: Dec 15 2015, 12:00 PM |

I'll drop a note here when it's done. When did you set your appointment? I just spoke to SC officer from Glenmarie, I hv to drive to Glenmarie first for inspection and she said if really lower arm bush need to wait at least 4 months cause that part is shipped from Japan, and apparently Japan is having issue with the production of that particular part too. Raining day on last Sunday, my car suddenly have "ngek ngek" sound from suspension when passing thru bumps. But after dry, no more sound. If this is relate to those issue you guys discussed?
The "kruk kruk" sound when going bumps has been solved since first 1k km service. Now this "ngek ngek" is another fault...haih. |

I saw my friends new cx5 able to play dvd 2) If i want to adjust the wheel camber , do i need to add on camber screw in order to adjust it? 3) Any 1 here has replace battery before? I saw online there is people selling RM 600 for original mazda GS battery. It wrote there if don't use original battery i-stop will never function. Is that true? From the factory no but there is a hardware and software hack for it. 1) Can our mazda 3 play dvd on the screen? Any one here using other brand battery ? 2) Forget about adjusting the back wheel camber. Manufacturers don't put in any adjustment screw because it is not necessary although your mechanic will try to convince you otherwise. 3) The i-stop feature require special battery to work. If you use normal battery you lose the i-stop function. |

Don't understand what you are saying. The fog complained by others is due to water vapour entering the headlamps causing tiny water droplets inside and nothing to do with the clarity of the cover. When it dries up the fog disappears. What type of fog do you mean?Feel sad everytime look from the outside after switching on the lights |

If this is relate to those issue you guys discussed? Same thing here, I just went service last Saturday (12 Dec 2015) and I told the service guy i have this kruk kruk and ngek ngek sound the moment i get in and out from car. Never notice about the weather though. After service, no longer hear those kruk kruk or ngek ngek. Service guy told me he cant find that sound which I told him. Hmm.. need to observe more. The "kruk kruk" sound when going bumps has been solved since first 1k km service. Now this "ngek ngek" is another fault...haih. Secondly my wifi is no longer working for the version 50.1.xxxx. and please take note. DO NOT UPDATE YOUR SOFTWARE VERSION TO 56.1.xxxx. 1. I dont see much update or changes. 2. Lag! Not super lag but lag and annoying and slow. I wanna go back to my 50.1.xxxx. plus updated to 56.1.xxxx, Wi-Fi still unsolved. So if you guys planning to update your software to 56.1.xxxx, please taruh them first before you risk it. |
