Guys, I just got my maxis postpaid activated YESTERDAY after staying very long with hotlink..

Now I'm planning to port to DiGi postpaid.... BUT, I'm scared if there would be any 'contract' with Maxis or what-so-ever.... Help me.... sad.gif

i wonder how u guys subsribe for any service without realise is there any contract or not.. you should know all the TOS and TnC before signing up. come on, be a smart consumer, dont just listen to the dealer.

any1 who using Maxis Value Plus 50 have switched to Digi 50???

im still see no different between this 2.  so no intention to porting 1st...

well, not me!! but from my comparison, i suggest that DG50 is a better plan as they give a low flat rate to any networks....no matter which networks u are calling is just 13sen/min, whereas maxis is 18sen/min , far different!!!

unless all the ppl u r calling is maxis, anyway is just 1sen different!! but for me is mix!! but i tent to call friends who using digi more biggrin.gif tongue.gif

I did read the TOS before signing the agreement. Since MAXIS is very good in 'hidden' things, such as hidden payments, hidden features and all those, so I thought there might be an 'hidden contract' as well, without me/us knowing about it.

Anyway, yet another query about MNP!

Guys, my current Maxis postpaid, I have used up to RM7.50 until now and assuming that my UNBILLED STATEMENT would show about RM15.00 by the time I receive my DiGi simpack, then should I pay the RM15 to Maxis before the porting could be successful? This is because DiGi did mentioned about settling all the "outstanding/overdue bills", and would that RM15 fit into that?

And, the delivery of DiGi simpack by City-Link, it is free right? sweat.gif

of course everyone reads the TOS and TnC, only a few that read between the lines.. even after i read it, i still want to hear what the dealer has to say from his/her understanding. i believe there should be at least 2 sets of TOS and TnC been given to everyone.. one set is related to the MNP process/procedure, and the other is for the plan/package that u registered.

i believe all telcos have informed prior to porting that u shud clear any unsettled bills or else the process might be delayed, or even rejected.

about the DiGi delivery, i think it is stated somewhere on their site that the simcard delivery is FOC.

On net calls/sms virtually bear very minimum or no "DIRECT COST" to the telco accept for interconnection fees between telcos. They don't really "affraid".

I want to know more about the 365days validity when u switch to digi prepaid. Can i go out and buy a new hotlink/celcom starter pack then switch and get the validity? Or do you have to own the number for a set amount of time?

Yes, can.
What plan/telco are you using now? smile.gif

That means any porting to DiGi prepaid will allow you to have free 365 validity. smile.gif
