how many days does it take to be activated to digi if i change from hotlink prepaid to digi postpaid? i'll be given a new simcard on the day i went to the digi shop to register for the convertion or i only get it few days later? do i need to have a certain amount of balance in the hotlink prepaid if i want to convert to digi postpaid?

reading post from here seems like many are changing to digi...

3-5 days but should be less than that, some within few hours. biggrin.gif
Yes, you will be given a new SIM card on the spot. No, you must clear all your credit balance and bonuses in Hotlink because it can't be brought forward to DiGi.

Some of my friends who added my hotlink number into their super fnf (non-digi users category) got the notification when they called me, the notification is something like the number you call is no longer in your fnf list, if you continue to call, normal calling charge will be applied, you can add this number into your fnf again... or more

Btw, some of my friends who added my hotlink number into active 10 list, quite unaware I already ported to digi, they still make super long talk with me brows.gif

I also changed from hotlink to digi postpaid DG50.I went to Tesco Ampang at 11am.At 4pm my digi line has been activated.

My mom a maxis user.Monthly around RM300.What is the best plan in Digi for her?Is it good for her to be my supplementary line?I want to lower her bill.Around RM200 if possible.

Based on the above comparison chart, I would say that DG 250 suits your mum's need. smile.gif
It is because once reaches RM 250 of usage, your mum can get RM600 worth of calls & SMS to any network for only RM250 per month. One low flat rate of 10 sen for Calls and SMS after free usage. Lowest MMS rate of 20 sen to any network.

Does your mum call you often? What types of calls does she make? To Maxis mostly?
It may be also a better choice for your mum to be your supplementary line because she will get unlimited free calls/SMS-es/MMS-es when you call her or she calls you. After all, she only pays for RM 30 commitment fees and shares the same call and SMS rate as you. smile.gif

It depends. If she calls maxis number most of the time, then it makes more sense to stay with maxis.

celcom executive plan will be a nice plan for aunties and uncles who talk a lot. They could not be bothered with sms / 3G / mms.

So, if she talks 5400mins and 600 sms per month, the max bill will be RM250+RM3,right?

5400mins x rm0.10 = rm540
600sms x rm0.10 = rm60

if most of the credit she spend was to call u and family member, better to convert her line to be your supp line!!

if she use it to call other networks or even other DiGi number, than DG250 is a perfect plan for her, because u just paying rm250 and u got rm600 worth of calls/sms!! 10sen/min and 10sen/sms, which is even heaper compared to maxis calling maxis!!

Thanks for your reply. Well, I did not chose any package with mobile phones neither did I paid any fees. I just changed it for free.

Anyway, I have just applied to switch to DiGi online. Looks like I gotta wait kinda long though... nod.gif

I had this problem too when I was on my Samsung phone, a very rare model. After switched to SE P1i, and still the problem persisted, called service centre and chatted with the customer service officer via D'Chat and they helped to solve the problem, eventually everything is solved. Maybe you should advise your girlfriend to do that? smile.gif

Because DiGi gives low rate. smile.gif
Maxis/Hotlink is losing a lot from MNP, hope they could rectify this problem fast.

I'm using VP 50.
VP 50 (lower maxis to maxis rate but higher maxis to other telco rate)
DG 50 (one flat rate)
It's actually depend on what you prefer and also the list of contacts.
