Can I know whether this is still valid?

Example:
Maxis to maxis: 12 sen/min
Maxis to other operator: 18 sen/min

How do we know 012/017 is maxis or other operator???

They need to come out with a program that reward loyalty. The longer you stay the better they provide you. This will prevent jumping ship and also...

Ops...sound like our political situation now. Haha.

Err...

Can a U Mobile number be ported? I always liked 018 prefix, but I don't want U mobile rate. I want it to be Hotlink. Can or not?
*
Yup i dont see why not.
Maybe next time we can even choose whether we want to start our number with 018, 019 with a maxis provider.

i heard the service is expensive
*
there is a RM 25 charge when you port.
I think telco will start tying user under contract preventing them from porting so easily.

of course digi sim getting the sms, when ported the maxis sim already invalid. looks like maxis system cannot detect whether you are on digi after you ported, good news for maxis ppl who will call me, maybe  maxis will still detect my number as maxis number ...smile.gif
*
How sure are you of that?

i read the STAR newspaper today..

found celcom ads (full page), them promoting MNP, they said 012/014/016/017 is now Celcom lol..

but, on the next two pages, found DiGi ads (half page).. also about MNP. they said, forget about non-FLAT rates, deposit, fee for fav numbers, helpline charges, etc.. and want people to switch to digi..

seem like the MNP war has begin.. haha
*
How about maxis or Umobile ads?

But I'm hesitating in plan pick. With hotlink my average usage is about 40 and constantly, I've considered DG50, but it will cost rm10 more in every month. Is Prepaid or DG20 the best?
*
I think DG 20 actually charge you RM20 monthly +add on your usage charge. I may be wrong here. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
So it's best to choose prepaid.

Yes, MMS-es are free too. smile.gif
Main line to supplementary lines, among supplementary lines (vice-versa basis); calls/SMS-es/MMS-es are free of charge. smile.gif

Argh! This is even better than maxis.
Cos maxis mms is not free between main and supp line. sad.gif
