Happy is under DiGi and it can survive, usually people won't port to happy and instead use it as secondary line. I think RM 0.99 for 45 minutes is something unbeatable yet. To use happy as main line? I don't think many will do it. hmm.gif

I plan to port my mum's Hotlink no. to DiGi postpaid to be my supplementary line, that should be allowed right? smile.gif

The questions that arise now are how long does it take to get the line activated? If it takes few days, then my mum still can use her Hotlink no. while waiting for it to get activated? How to know if it is already activated?

Sorry for being a nuisance here. notworthy.gif Because my mum has RM 7+.++ in her Hotlink credit, I plan to sell it off cheap on LYN but need to ask first before getting the line ported and selling off the credits blindly.

Hope someone can enlighten me on this. smile.gif

hmm.gif That means my mum can't call/receive phone calls in those few days while waiting for it to be successfully ported out? sweat.gif shocking.gif

Ya, I plan to sell off the credit. I'll be back to my hometown this week, I'll help her on this matter.

How Long Will It Take?

From the time we receive your registration via this website, we estimate it would take at least 5 business days to complete the switch to DiGi. During this time, we would also send you a SIM pack and working with your current service provider to ensure you enjoy a smooth transition switching to DiGi.

Yes, and better still, you have 11 Friends and Family. That should pretty much cover all your most frequently dialed numbers, no? You are going to save even more. You should considering of making the switch to Digi when you start noticing that you are calling more Digi's number than before. My phone used to be 012/017 as a majority and these days, its like 6:4 and with MNP going nationwide, I foresee the numbers managed by Digi will increase and probably take over the Maxis' ratio.

The next time I see my friends, I have to ask them, your number belongs to Digi, Celcom or Maxis? Haha.
*
For postpaid only 6 FnF and restricted to DiGi users, not like prepaid where 2 no. can be from other networks. smile.gif
I was having lunch with my friend just now and she asked the reason for I switched from Maxis to DiGi, I told her about the cheap call rate and everything.
Then told her about MNP, she will be making a switch too and registering DG50 and applying supplementary lines for her staffs. smile.gif

Well, some of the members here have switched from Maxis to DiGi. smile.gif
With so many promotions from DiGi, I think many are tempted to change as well. wink.gif

btw, im another maxis hater since last 5years where they suck ass
*
Coverage gotta follow the telco you ported to. smile.gif Not all is the same?

Good? In term of coverage maybe but DiGi is catching up.
But the plans are ridiculously expensive and lots of hidden T&C. sweat.gif

True, every month I am paying RM300+ to Maxis and what did I get? poor customer service!

Now change to Digi got reward points so more!
Sub line calls are free! sms free, mms free!

Screw Maxi$!
*
Another boat jumper. laugh.gif
Maxis is losing so many customers I presume, through MNP. I'm sure they are finding strategies to counter back the problem, well I anticipate because I'm sure DiGi will be ready to face changes and counter back Maxis again! The cycle never stops. sweat.gif laugh.gif

1 Questions to ask:

If i Transfer RM100 to another HOTLINK account, how long will the receiver have the validity day for that RM100?

THanks
*
I think 7 days. hmm.gif
All reload transfer is 7 days regardless any amount right? unsure.gif
I hope someone can clear our doubt as I plan to sell my mum's Hotlink credit too before porting to DiGi. biggrin.gif

Actually I am quite curious, if I decided to switch back to DiGi and still keep my current Hotlink number with this MNP, when I top up the next time, I buy DiGi or Hotlink topup?
*
DiGi of course. You have nothing to do with Hotlink anymore. smile.gif

another surprise, I can edit my favorite numbers online icon_rolleyes.gif , no more writing down those numbers on a piece of paper before editing which I have to do so with hotlink. mad.gif

Yes, the DiGi OCS is very useful! biggrin.gif
I just keep track with everything through there. Can check calls made, SMS-es/MMS-es sent, durations and costs. thumbup.gif

rclxms.gif  OCS is surprisingly useful! I even can send 3 sms daily for free flex.gif .

But the online statement cannot show what number I called to or text, hotlink can. Aiyo whistling.gif , who cares, I rarely check those stuff.
*
Eh can right? Because I keep track through that way. smile.gif
You are main or supplementary line?

i hav few frens who using 012 n 017 wud like to switch to digi! How shud it b done? Go digi service centre?

After they ported into digi, can i add them into friends n family without using tat special FnF plus plan!? Coz if i m not mistaken ... Fnf only applicable to numbers like 016 to 0146 or 016 only... Can add 012/017 after they ported into digi!?
*
Yes, go to DiGi centre. You can see the list here: http://digi.com.my/switch/how_sub2.jsp or you can opt for online porting but this applies to Klang Valley only. Refer to here: http://www.digi.com.my/switch/now/index.jsp

FnF for DiGi prepaid can add in four no. from other telcos and 11 DiGi no. (New Super FnF) smile.gif If I'm not wrong. SMS rate is RM 0.01/sms and RM 0.15/minute for FnF. However, for other telcos, call rate is RM 0.15/minute but SMS rate still remains RM 0.10 and not RM 0.01.

With recent new New Prepaid I Like, it offers better value for you! Refer here for comparison table: http://www.digi.com.my/whatshot/promotions/ilike/rate.do
