Happy is under DiGi and it can survive, usually people won't port to happy and instead use it as secondary line. I think RM 0.99 for 45 minutes is something unbeatable yet. To use happy as main line? I don't think many will do it.

I plan to port my mum's Hotlink no. to DiGi postpaid to be my supplementary line, that should be allowed right?
The questions that arise now are how long does it take to get the line activated? If it takes few days, then my mum still can use her Hotlink no. while waiting for it to get activated? How to know if it is already activated? Sorry for being a nuisance here. Hope someone can enlighten me on this. This post has been edited by fruitie: Oct 15 2008, 07:12 PM |

Ya, I plan to sell off the credit. I'll be back to my hometown this week, I'll help her on this matter. Added on October 15, 2008, 7:30 pmSaw this on the previous posts about online porting: QUOTE How Long Will It Take? From the time we receive your registration via this website, we estimate it would take at least 5 business days to complete the switch to DiGi. During this time, we would also send you a SIM pack and working with your current service provider to ensure you enjoy a smooth transition switching to DiGi. QUOTE(jasonlioh @ Oct 16 2008, 03:35 PM) Yes, and better still, you have 11 Friends and Family. That should pretty much cover all your most frequently dialed numbers, no? You are going to save even more. You should considering of making the switch to Digi when you start noticing that you are calling more Digi's number than before. My phone used to be 012/017 as a majority and these days, its like 6:4 and with MNP going nationwide, I foresee the numbers managed by Digi will increase and probably take over the Maxis' ratio. For postpaid only 6 FnF and restricted to DiGi users, not like prepaid where 2 no. can be from other networks. The next time I see my friends, I have to ask them, your number belongs to Digi, Celcom or Maxis? Haha. I was having lunch with my friend just now and she asked the reason for I switched from Maxis to DiGi, I told her about the cheap call rate and everything. Then told her about MNP, she will be making a switch too and registering DG50 and applying supplementary lines for her staffs. This post has been edited by fruitie: Oct 16 2008, 04:07 PM |

QUOTE(imperialrealcs @ Oct 17 2008, 01:39 AM) hey, since they can share all the 016-012-014-019 number, what about their coverage? same? if same then maxis got no more advantage lor Coverage gotta follow the telco you ported to. btw, im another maxis hater since last 5years where they suck ass QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Oct 17 2008, 01:57 AM) I have one and he is the Executive for International Roaming in U-Mobile, so he has to use U-Mobile. |

QUOTE(aranel @ Oct 17 2008, 09:51 AM) True, every month I am paying RM300+ to Maxis and what did I get? poor customer service! Another boat jumper. Now change to Digi got reward points so more! Sub line calls are free! sms free, mms free! Screw Maxi$! Maxis is losing so many customers I presume, through MNP. I'm sure they are finding strategies to counter back the problem, well I anticipate because I'm sure DiGi will be ready to face changes and counter back Maxis again! The cycle never stops. |

QUOTE(tslim2531 @ Oct 17 2008, 02:26 PM) 1 Questions to ask: I think 7 days. If i Transfer RM100 to another HOTLINK account, how long will the receiver have the validity day for that RM100? THanks All reload transfer is 7 days regardless any amount right? I hope someone can clear our doubt as I plan to sell my mum's Hotlink credit too before porting to DiGi. QUOTE(ukiya @ Oct 23 2008, 02:27 AM) i hav few frens who using 012 n 017 wud like to switch to digi! How shud it b done? Go digi service centre? Yes, go to DiGi centre. You can see the list here: http://digi.com.my/switch/how_sub2.jsp or you can opt for online porting but this applies to Klang Valley only. Refer to here: http://www.digi.com.my/switch/now/index.jspAfter they ported into digi, can i add them into friends n family without using tat special FnF plus plan!? Coz if i m not mistaken ... Fnf only applicable to numbers like 016 to 0146 or 016 only... Can add 012/017 after they ported into digi!? FnF for DiGi prepaid can add in four no. from other telcos and 11 DiGi no. (New Super FnF) With recent new New Prepaid I Like, it offers better value for you! Refer here for comparison table: http://www.digi.com.my/whatshot/promotions/ilike/rate.do This post has been edited by fruitie: Oct 23 2008, 02:48 AM |
