I think it is the same as the Merdeka FD promotion. I actually went there aiming for the 4.1% at 8 months FD but the officer asked me whether I want to put longer (i.e. 4.18% at 12 months). I said yes and she processed it. Didn't asked much..... blush.gif

I actually requested whether I can add in my existing fund and the officer said she will try to ask. I actually only had about 10k truly-fresh-from-the oven fund sweat.gif . Turns out that they can only accept funds that was banked in for this month and not older than that. Was surprised that they can consider funds banked in that particular month as "fresh" funds. biggrin.gif So I managed to put in a bit more not-so-fresh fund.... rclxms.gif

Good to know that UOB has the 12 mth 4.18%, though lower than their previous 12 mth 4.2% promo.

For UOB, I was told can add in 10k to existing "busuh" tongue.gif fund, then can go for the promo. It makes sense as most of their promo require 10k or above. biggrin.gif

That's what I tried. My online FD (1-month) matured today so I requested to uplift that FD and add-in the 10k fresh. Turns out I can't.... the 1-month fund too smelly.... biggrin.gif

Haha, interesting. Last time I wanted to RENTAS out matured FD, then issue cheque to place FD. The staff suggested I just add 10k and then can place FD with the matured fund (1 day still not that busuh). I did that. Maybe diff UOB branch practice differently. biggrin.gif

Yes you can do FD upliftment via online through the OCBC Internet Banking.
*
Is this for eFD only or normal FD is able to be uplifted thru internet banking too?

Would be great news if normal FD can be uplifted online as FD upliftment for OCBC here is terribly slow.

Actually can. Like one of the bank told me. I think was affin. Withdraw (no need to leave to the bank), add in like rm10k. Counted as fresh already. Another way is withdraw in cash, bring to another branch, counted as fresh funds. tongue.gif

Hard to say. BR at times say 50k, at times only 100k as the limit for so called nego rate. But can always try your luck. Just ask. biggrin.gif
