QUOTE(AtlasWing @ Jun 16 2015, 02:41 PM) thanks man. Outside M'sia fund is gud right nowI went for the RHB FD ASNB bundle today. The officer recommended that I go for funds like RHB OSK or new ones after the FD matures. She said Singapore investment will be more stable compared to local funds. Is that true? Should i go for RHB OSK,Public mutual or Kenanga? or any other suggestions for a low- medium risk investment? Sorry, I'm still new to these things and am a slow learner, hope some sifus can teach me a thing or two. Thanks U need to pick n choose the 3 UT Co as each have their own credential |

QUOTE(joeaverage @ Jun 19 2015, 02:15 PM) can someone explain in greater detail what does fresh fund typically mean? lets say i have 2 bank accounts - mbb and uob. i do an online transfer of $ from mbb to uob and get uob to issue me a banker's cheque and which i go present to mbb. all this done in a span of 3 days. will mbb consider it as fresh fund or certain amount of time needs to lapse first? if so, how long usually? Fresh funds = Funds from Bank A move/transfer to Bank B either via cheq/bankers cheq/onlinedoes it make a difference if instead of banker's cheque - i re-transfer online to maybank after a week from uob. and then go to counter to use it as fresh fund for fd placement. would this also work? thanks! |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Jun 19 2015, 02:42 PM) Who knows bank A got better deal than bank B and one does not want to use banker's cheque or cash. So one needs to transfer money back to bank A so it is "fresh funds" If I were u, I will perform:-a. Bank A FD due b. Instruct Bank A to conduct Rentas from Bank A to Bank B c. Issue personal cheq from Bank B for FD placement at Bank A |
