I belive it's easy to remove the drain pan but when putting the drain pan back together it's kinda tricky to put it back together with the clips from both side of the ac and the drain hose together(copper pipe side, motherboard side)
*
Yes panasonic inverter xpu drain pan got 3 clip below. Actually i would say a bit easier(no screw when to attach drain pipe to pan) compare to daikin/other model that have screw.

Hi guys, need a air con for my small room, was thinking of Panasonic CS-PU9XKH-1 RM1599, any review for this air con? or maybe there is a better option? use it only on night time 3 to 5 hour daily..

hi all,
anyone got experience/review using sharp inverter j tech air con?
*
Yeah we are using two units. 1.0 HP and 2.0HP J-Tech Inverter for more than a year now.

I am also using the older 1.5HP and 2.0HP Eco Inverter Series from Sharp which has a better build quality compared to the J-Tech Inverter units.

The new 2.0HP J Tech Inverter has follow me function (the louvres is motorised) to direct air your way.

Initially got Sharp Eco Inverter series because of the coanda airflow feature but now other brands have it too; however, the newer J-Tech Inverter energy efficiency is higher at low price point.

Thus, went for Sharp again.

Our Eco-Inverter series is 6 years old now; compressor is slightly noisier (buzzing sound when it hits some mid frequency) and then it goes away on the 2.0HP but still very much quieter compared to our neighbours Panasonic Inverter Air cond which are newer than ours.

Our 1.5HP unit is run nearly 24/7; also no issues with it but we service every 6months to 9 months once.

Sharp indoor unit fan noise can be loud (can hear wind blowing sound) if on high speed probably due to the long air throw feature, to me it was comparable to Mitsubishi Electric AC sound and quieter than York (now Daikin).

What is your room dimension and are there any walls which face South or South West and what items do you use in the room? Like laptop only or server etc?

This 1hp FTKF is a 316i bimmer. Only the badge is good.
The car is slow even if u step full gas. laugh.gif
barely 9k btu..
9,000 (3,400-9,200) and 4star ST.. turbo btu 9200 so close to nominal btu 9000, it make no difference in cooling if u press the turbo button. (can say almost all other 1hp INV will beat its cooling performance).

In comparison for around the same price range, you can get better cooling performance:

1) even the Hitachi RAS-XH10CKM btu 9,210(3,070-11,260), RM1199 online, while not as great as its previous CJ series, it can do up to 11k+ turbo btu (~20% more cooling capacity). This also 4 star ST.

2) Or Pana X Deluxe 1hp CS-XPU10WKH-1, 9680 (3070-11600) btu around RM1299 online can be considered as well. This is 5 star ST.

Mitsu 1hp JS economy series also another 8800 nominal 92xx turbo like the FTKF..there are 2 variants of 1hp but I usually see Msia market having the lower spec one so cannot recommend JS series. The better spec is the premium GR series but price also premium..

Self clean with vacuum and soft brush to loosen the dust without spoiling the fins..if not later need to buy one of those RM7 fin comb from china to straighten back

Partly that, and also IC chip/transistor material shortages here and there, plus high demand in summertime globally as well (or even locally we have hot season now). Online is the best bet but see courier carefully - avoid Just Throw; can save the delivery fee if seller allow self collect option (will still fit a sedan or godcar) if the location is close enough in 10km or same district SOPs.

Also physical store without online presence if small shop they also dont want to keep too much stocks, whilst now online seller higher demand can commit bigger order so mfg/distributor prioritise them as well.

https://www.daikin.com.my/heat-calculator/

You can use this calculator to get the recommended BTU / hr

Once you get that figure add another +10% to compensate for Malaysian weather
