wow... that Z301C is just tasty! The size is about right for me! 30" not too large for my close sitting position. 2560x1080 not too taxing on my card... but 200hz?! screaming for 1080 or 1080ti!

Already 3 weeks since I ordered X34 and it's not even send. Bought from Lazada, not sure it Lazada sucks or Acer sucks big time.
One week after I ordered, Lazada called me claimed it's pre-order and I straight away shot them back for lying. Lazada/Acer update the title for the item to include ( pre-order ETA 25th July ) massive speechless. If no stock, stop allowing user to order then , dont la call later and give reason

Was the price significantly lower than RM4.2k? If not, you would have been better off just going to Lowyat shops and COD for immediate gratification

Regret not doing that. Price around 4274.50 with shipping, I got RM4299 quoted from Czone LY. I go with Lazada because no CC surcharge, collect CC points and shopback cashback ( RM16X ).
I didnt cancel the order because afraid the refund thing will be messy, since it involve 4K+.

Now I fed up already, and focus on getting new casing this week.

if you consider buying 1080p on screen higher than 24" ; please go to the shop first and see the actual screen with text ; desktop icon etc first..

almost bought a 28" 1080p thinking its cheaper / value for money compared those 24" 1080p...

but when actually see the screen, you can significantly tell that the image on those 28" is blur

Well that sucks.. I've heard similar story as yours before from my colleague. After escalate here and there, end up he still have to wait for few weeks before he received the monitor. I guess they nvr learn..

Screw Acer/Lazada, called them yesterday and still no update, straight away cancelled my order.

Either look around for shop with ready stock, or hold for now

You could try Topmaid at Lowyat. Saw on their FB page previously, they regularly re-stock.

Checking with them this morning, waiting reply. Last Fri went there to buy casing, then saw they have X34 on display. They even have the X34A, but I didnt ask if they have ready stock.

X34A! The only diff is the stand, whereby the X34A stand can now swivel whereas the X34 could not. Go for the X34A!!

Most likely get that, stand still massively huge, but at least it can swivel now.
Asked around few shop that might have, all dont have ready stock except TopMaid, hopes no one see this post and go there before me

I havent test gaming performance hit from FHD to UWQHD but I think with higher resolution, no need AA now.

I have 28" UHD monitor. Some games I play (BF4, GTA-V, Far Cry 4, Project Cars) supports running it at 3440 x 1440 (black bars top and bottom of screen - equivalent to 26" Ultra Wide QHD), but even with single GTX 1080, I have to dial down some of the setting to get 60 fps. That's why lah I decided to go SLI yesterday.

Yeah, higher res means need to apply less AA or no AA, depending on game. But I can tell you, some games like GTA-V, there are certain graphic elements that still need AA even when I run it 4K.

You now have UWQHD, can go 100 Hz some more. Trust me, the upgrade poison will slowly get into your mind. GTX Titan Pascal perhaps?
