You sure arrrrrrr you definitely not going?  brows.gif  brows.gif

I have 28" UHD monitor. Some games I play (BF4, GTA-V, Far Cry 4, Project Cars) supports running it at 3440 x 1440 (black bars top and bottom of screen - equivalent to 26" Ultra Wide QHD), but even with single GTX 1080, I have to dial down some of the setting to get 60 fps. That's why lah I decided to go SLI yesterday.

Yeah, higher res means need to apply less AA or no AA, depending on game. But I can tell you, some games like GTA-V, there are certain graphic elements that still need AA even when I run it 4K.

You now have UWQHD, can go 100 Hz some more. Trust me, the upgrade poison will slowly get into your mind. GTX Titan Pascal perhaps?  devil.gif

Yesterday go TopMaid and grab this babe  wub.gif

Box tall as hell, also huge and heavy. I got few bruise over fingers as I was stubborn enough to carry the box myself from car to home, should have call my brother to help.

Yikes! 74 cm table still not sufficient to cater for X34? Like this, my 70 cm depth table chialat.

Anyway, bear in mind the weight of the X34 without stand, is 9.9kg. You will need an arm that can support that. Generally, the arms come in either desk-mounted or wall-mounted. For the former, it can be a clamp or grommet type.

The Ergotron MX or LX to me, are the best options but mind you, these costs and may not be available locally. There are however, other alternatives. Try contacting the sellers with postings in garage sale, here and here.

The display itself at middle of that depth ( push furthest inside already ), so in usual gaming/typing position, it's too close to be comfortable. The base/feet itself are like 3 point type, so I cant push the base even inside without tipping it off bangwall.gif

I read in reddit, one guy actually mod his table ( same IKEA table with mine ) with a small metal stand behind to accommodate back feet.

Alas, I won't have that luxury because my desk is a custom built-in and already flushed against a wall. My options, if really needed, will be getting a monitor arm.

Well.. There's a 60Hz Curved WQHD 3440x1440 FreeSync monitor for RM3100
Wasabimango 340UC

No Gsync or 100Hz like Asus PG348Q but it's half the price of the Asus one.

It is just my opinion/POV as I would always prefer a peace of mind buying "big ticket" consumer electronics that are available to the masses in country for after sales support. No offense nor insult intended for the lesser brands. notworthy.gif
