I think pixel count wise, they are the same. The flat version *should* cost around 4-5k considering the current oversea price of roughly USD 1k and current conversion rate + profit margin for new product... Still over my budget... sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

I prefer ultrawide 4k instead of straight 4k (just a 1080p on steroid), so cannot afford... sweat.gif

I sarpork you! His price for this monitor is really good as well.

Bought the ultrawide from this dood and I have nothing but praises for this monitor (except playing Dota 2 on it, but that one is Volvo problem).

At 4.9million pixels ultrawide are so much easier to drive than 4k (8.3million), but the immersion of ultrawide displays are unparalleled. Especially curved ones!

I memang cannot describe what it feels like to play on ultrawide, really have to see to believe. smile.gif

Yep, the maths add up. rclxms.gif

Ultrawide 1440p is 3440x1440 = 4,953,600 pixels
4k is 3840x2160 = 8,294,400 pixels smile.gif

Single card 4K already possible now with more than 60 FPS, but only the 980Ti and Titan X can do it now. rclxms.gif
