I think pixel count wise, they are the same. The flat version *should* cost around 4-5k considering the current oversea price of roughly USD 1k and current conversion rate + profit margin for new product... Still over my budget...

Bought the ultrawide from this dood and I have nothing but praises for this monitor (except playing Dota 2 on it, but that one is Volvo problem).
At 4.9million pixels ultrawide are so much easier to drive than 4k (8.3million), but the immersion of ultrawide displays are unparalleled. Especially curved ones!
I memang cannot describe what it feels like to play on ultrawide, really have to see to believe.
