Am coming from a single AOC i2369v (23" 1080p ips). So, for a smoother transition I went for LG 29um57 (29" 2560 x 1080p ips). Gaming with this sucker is just awesome!

QUOTE(azcromex @ Mar 30 2016, 10:32 PM) really wanted to jump on 21:9 but currently can only afford the 29um57. I think you'll feel claustrophobic with the short height even tho your 27" is running on FHD only. Anyway this is the measurement of the monitor.coming from a FHD 27" will it feel too small in terms of screen height? im so used to big screens just afraid i cant live with the shorter height once i pull the trigger Outer dimensions are ~27.5"w x ~12.5"h. The display sits ~4" off the desk. Footprint of the stand is approximately 8"d x 9"w. You can do a simple comparison with your 27" now. I would say it's quite a bit of difference... but if you are in the mood for some ultrawide goodness (in a budget) then I can definitely say this 29um57 is really bang for the buck! |

QUOTE(richard912 @ Jul 14 2016, 04:26 PM) If 1080p is your thing, you may want to wait for the new Acer Predator Z1 series. News updates here for 32" and 30". wow... that Z301C is just tasty! The size is about right for me! 30" not too large for my close sitting position. 2560x1080 not too taxing on my card... but 200hz?! screaming for 1080 or 1080ti!For those (like me) waiting for the X34P, news here. |
