QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ May 29 2016, 04:46 PM) Agreed with you as well. It's just that, too many reports on the panel used on X34 being either has backlight bleeding or bad IPS glow. scared of buying it and find out mine has those issues, plus the asking price is rather on steeper side for such issues to exist out of the box. I think Dell's working on a new UW G-Sync monitor but could be months before it's announced. Dell and Samsung are rather slow in tapping the gaming monitor market.Wish Dell or Samsung could just get into the game and produce UW Gsync monitors coz I rather trust these two than Asus and Acer |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Jul 21 2016, 10:02 AM) Already 3 weeks since I ordered X34 and it's not even send. Bought from Lazada, not sure it Lazada sucks or Acer sucks big time. Well that sucks.. I've heard similar story as yours before from my colleague. After escalate here and there, end up he still have to wait for few weeks before he received the monitor. I guess they nvr learn..One week after I ordered, Lazada called me claimed it's pre-order and I straight away shot them back for lying. Lazada/Acer update the title for the item to include ( pre-order ETA 25th July ) |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Aug 17 2016, 11:00 AM) What's the price you can get for U3415W ? Last time I was quoted over 4K for U3415W, not in any universe I would pay that much money for it, given that X34 is just 200-300 ringgit more ( with 100Hz and G-sync ) QUOTE(matrixation @ Aug 17 2016, 11:07 AM) Wow.. u were quoted RM4K?U can definitely get cheaper price than that |

QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ Oct 16 2016, 02:05 PM) make sure you're using the correct version of the HDMI cable. To be safe, use the v1.4 version as that's what the HDMI input of the X34A supports (refresh rates locked at 60Hz via HDMI). Otherwise just use the included DP cable, since your GPU also has the DP input, which in turn supports the 100Hz refresh rates. I've had some really weird issues with HDMI cables before and had to spent a bit of money changing cables. End up using DP cable instead and voila, works perfectly. I prefer DP cable too cos it supports higher refresh rates. If ur graphics card supports DP, go for DP. Just my 2 cent. |

QUOTE(kamechi @ Oct 4 2017, 03:33 PM) U can also consider 34UC98. It supports 1440p resolution and comes with integrated speakers. Downside is the refresh rate.Personally, 1440p works better on a bigger screen. 34" is a big screen.. if take 34UC79G, it only supports 1080p. |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Dec 12 2017, 06:50 PM) Forgot you are Dell seller, haha! Oops... I sell Acer/Dell/LG/Asus monitors also. Heheh.. They is no weaknesses for having higher refresh rate even for office use. The only weak point on the LG 34UC79G is the design a bit fancy for office usage. Some boss may not accept the fancy look. As for warranty I never buy extra, as long they can give you that extra warranty means it is very little chances it will spoil within the extra warranty period. Yea, LG 34UC79G is a bit fancy but price wise is very worth it. Highly recommended. I've sold a few LG 34UC98 and 34UC79G already. Thinking of changing my U2715H to LG 34UC98 also. Might upgrade it early next year Warranty is jus for peace of mind and it helps to add a bit to the resale value. But nah... I usually don't recommend my customers to get the extra warranty. |

Just joined the ultrawide club last week. Dell U3415W
Playing Battlefield 1 feels good man.... I'm also using Dell Display Manager to manage multi window. Works fine for me for now. Any of u guys use 3rd party software for this purpose? I currently have 3 windows pane set up. So can open 3 windows side by side on single screen. |

QUOTE(craxors @ Jan 11 2018, 08:54 AM) I was actually considering the LG 34UC98 but my GPU is not powerful enough and I won't really benefit from the FreeSync feature And, I got the U3415W at a very very good deal This post has been edited by teng_08: Jan 11 2018, 10:22 AM |
