Chessgal,

In mind that the flat transacted during low-time of 97 financial crisis; where properties are mostly sold below valuation of around 165-180K.

Your friend must be having a top-of-the-notch flat.

Dear all...
Im confuse to work in Singapore or Malaysia.
I got 2 offer - Let say
Singapore offer me SGD 4K in .NET (contract)
Malaysia offer me RM 3k in SAP (permanent+2 month bonus min)

I have total of 2 years exp in .NET and 0 experience in SAP
Should i work in Malaysia to gain experience in SAP or Try .NEt job in SG?

I believe with SAP experience can easily get up to 4-5K SGD.
What should i do now?
*
With 3 years & above of sap exp u get around 4-5k sgd in singapore...but u get around RM10k++ if u work in malaysia...With SAP experience, malaysia companies pays far higher (even after exchange rates conversion)....thats y many really good and experienced sap fellas stays in malaysia becoz singapore cannot afford to pay them. But this of coz does not paint the whole picture, there are exceptions. Freshies saps however will earn more in singapore. If i am u, i ll stay in malaysia and do up sap ler.

try amoy street.
low par sat.. not so good imo.
or the stalls inside the overhead bridge between sgx and dbs.
or the yellow plate place that sells char siu,kai fan etc. the meat is good. price around sgd 3.00-3.50

i usually eat at work place , rarely go out for lunch. d'ont like to sweat it out.

u could try the claypot at the corner beside mph.

but around 7-10 sgd. not cheap by sg standards.

i've only been here about 10 months.
pr.. maybe..
no point getting a car. first thing is your own place to call home..
reliable source have been telling me prices might seem high now, but it can go higher still.....its not at the peak yet..for certain category of properties..
