Today i get an employment offer from a company frm Sg. I was required to sign an employment contract n to undergo pre-employment medical check-up, my question is:

1. Usually how long does it takes to process EP? Is there any case where the employee allowed to work even before they get the pass?

2.How's the medical check up like ar? Will underweight be a prob?? tongue.gif

Thanks~

My experience tells me this is true, should be applicable to both giant MNC and SME. Of course it also depends on the person who reads your resume or contacts you.

Eat bread on everyday?! So terrible? U mean breakfast is it? haha.. I think the overall depends on how much u earn per month and the way u spend the money and allocating it for savings etc.. If the company got provide housing subsidy or accomodation, that would definitely helps a lot in saving some $. The company that currently offering me the job provides $600 housing allowance, which is very good.

bro pubee, seriously i can tell u most of the ppl hook up with agent is easier for them not US wink.gif
where ea successful deal they get half of the rent (it depands) whistling.gif

for me i pay S$250 for a common room at S$520 hehe

if u dont 1 agent ~ u have to spend time rumbling aroung S'pore for few trips and search for notice borad arounf central for rooms
Or...stay with owner which is scary....water restriction, electricity restriction ( if he/she see u have LCD/lappie/CPU/PS3..etc they definitely doing to blame on u, using too much electricity doh.gif )

so is up to u whether Agent (might worth too if the agent get u a real nice cheap deal with pretty gals staying together~~ wub.gif )
else...JB or day trip to s'pore for visit~

All the best bro~

it is not hard to get jobs in singapore with high pay if your have the experience they wan. But sometimes they will marginalize malaysians by offering us lower pay because we are malaysian and some companies will calculate the pay after converting SGD to RM so it will make it look like we had a huge pay jump. Please dont accept this, if your current pay is RM5k, demand for 25% hike in SGD or something like that. This is because, we r living in their country and there are alot of additional cost to bear especially the RENTAL part. Eating bread just to survive in SG?? better not...come back and eat rice with your family better coz its really not that worth it to be so lonely, eating bread and getting low pay.
