QUOTE(m3eshell10 @ Dec 2 2019, 06:30 PM) I'm wondering why people still buy PM when they impose high sales charges when you can get better performing funds at lower sales charge. I dunno though just starting to buy UT because of PRS. Regret put my first PRS investment in PM now everytime want to top up think about the sales charge 3% when FSM 0%. good marketing i guess. I am in the same boat as you are. my friend is my agent. i topup once for epf scheme. at that time lazy to read. after some reading refuse to topup via PMO/agent anymore. even for PRS, open account with CIMB for this year's contribution and didnt topup my PMO PRS. |

I have a question about joint holder. If the joint holder is minor (<18 years old), upon death of the fisrt-holder, will the joint-holder takes over the investment? Can anyone (guardian of joint holder) withdraw the money before the joint holder attain 18 years old?

Portfolio about 95% in bond funds... been slowly switching out of equity funds till last October.
The growth was pretty flat from Sept to Nov. and about 0.5% up in Dec. The growth continues in January… 1.5%. So, with Shanghai going down 7-8% today, no sweat… don’t have to react to market noise… might continue to switch a bit, about 2-3%, back into equities every 3 months. |

Hi,
I have been investing in PB Dividend Builder Equity Fund for few years and yet to see the best performance of this fund. At the same time, I also have Kenanga Growth Fund (performing!) which is also focusing on local equity markets. I wondered why PM can't compete with these companies? |

QUOTE(not timid and slow @ Feb 27 2020, 09:58 PM) to be fair, the extraordinary event, political havoc. which caused the sudden dip. should not detract from the excellent management n performance of the preceding 12 months It's nothing to do with "excellent" management. so im told Almost every global shares/indexes have gone up in the past 12 months. Many of them achieving 30% or more. MSFT achieved 80% or thereabouts. What PM has achieved can best described as mediocre (well below average, under-perform) Are you an agent? |

QUOTE(roarus @ Feb 28 2020, 02:12 PM) In this case, PM's performance doesn't look too shabby when compared against MSCI ACWI (all world). Of course, this is not taking into account sales charges.
