Finally they agree the mistake and I pay them the correct amount.

On the legal side, it state " best effort " on the contract but throthling
definitely is not on the  "best effort" side.Its on purpose

So stop whining ,etc and downgrade

( And to think I took so much effort to upgrade less than a year ago and its a long story. Basically I have to discontinue my rm66/512 and apply again to get the 77/1Mb. They won't allow straight upgrade cause

instead of downgrading first, why don't you try to complain to cfm? Many of us here have already complained to cfm to put pressure on tmnut. so i think you should do the same. if after that you are still not happy, then go to their office, thump your fist at their desk and downgrade!!!!

Maybe you could just pay "half" payment at every month , just to keep your payment "live" , you know what I mean.

complaints wasting time? you think you pay them half your bill they are going to feel threatened? They will just laugh at your face and cut off your connection for paying late all the time. If you have any better ideas then that one, let's hear it because that is the lamest thing you can do to tmnut.

we are not going to let bygones be bygones because they are cheating all of us by not giving us the speed we paid for! it is guys like you who think complaints are a waste of time that encourages corrupt companies like tmnut to keep on cheating consumers of their hard earned money. vmad.gif

I was making complaints to TM, since the first day I applied streamyx. After so many years of "hardwork", I don't think complaints could make any changes. TM still cheat on us.

payment will still pay on time but just halfly paid. TM will not cut your line for this reason...can tell TMnut that you are not sure how much to pay ( since billl adjustment have not been done yet)

you want proof that complaints give results? did you read page 1 or not? there is my proof. i complained until they admit to my face they are throttling p2p. what did you do? give up? stop payment? did tmnut suddenly break down and cry because you only pay them half? they are just going to use that as an excuse to cut your connection and sue you if they think you are being funny with them.

what ...?? that proof can bring any chances to our BT throttled ?? until now TM still sucking customers' money and never officially admit this.

but.. you can't blame him. because I myself set the upload to unlimited, yet sometimes only can upload to ~10k ... dunno why ??

Hehe this is the first time i get those speed... normally the speed wont even go over 20kbs vmad.gif

Too bad now the speed had gone back to 10kbs cry.gif after my modem disconnect

i found this post on www.dslreports.com and this should clear up the issue on why some guys are not throttled at the moment.

It uses hardware based Traffic Shapper to do this, and intelligent enough to know whether it is P2P packets or streamyx packets. Note that it only put low priority on P2P packets, and HTTP & Streaming still get normal priority.

Why some ppl experiencing this while others dont?
That is because they have not implement this plantwide (due to cost factor). Maybe some of you get impacted by this, irregardless of 218 or 219 or 60 class IP.

For those who shared the same gateway, but some facing slowdown on BT while others dont, this is most probably users which has FULL SPEED is peering with other TM NET users. That is the reason you still get full speed.

Note all the information ABOVE is not provided by TM Net. It is based on feedback/report that I've read/heard/discuss

How long tmnut will keep this bt shaping?
tmtnut should give official writing to msian that they dont support bt and put in their advertisement.
very pity to new user if their intention subcribing streamyx just to bt.

About the dslreport, the time is now 12:10pm and I'm still getting good speeds on my torrent 10-30kBps with 0 local peers. Most of the peers are uploading at less than 1kBps while a few are uploading up to 10kBps. I have pinged those high speed peers and they have very low latency while others (very slow) have high latency. The peers are located in Germany, USA and Netherlands. Meanwhile, I have noticed that my google problem have also disappeared. I think TM Net did something to my DSLAM.

So the report has some errors unless they really decided to remove the traffic shaping appliance because it is needed elsewhere with higher traffic or suffered some kind of malfunction from heat or humidity.

I am not sure whether is only my place facing a streamyx network problem?

My streamyx keep on disconnected for the entire last week! Is this anything to do with they try to throttling our P2P?

Just like yesterday, almost the entire day I was unable to connect to internet, only able to connect for few minutes then disconnect for few hours, and came back few minutes and then disconnected again!!!

I live in Cheras, and one of my friend staying same area as me also have this problem... They are cheatting our money!!!

Anyone have the same experience or anyone know what is happening?

tmnut never admitted to p2p throttling officially and will only admit when guys like me complain to them hard enough. i also pity the new users who subscribe to tmnut for BT only to find out that they are throttled to high heaven. as for when it will end, tmnut never gave any official date or guarantee
us that they will stop throttling once they get more bandwidth. only god knows if they have any intention to keep their promises.
